libraries
To borrow books, magazines etc., you
need a library card. You also need a
library card when you want to book
and use the library’s computers and
wireless networks (WiFi). The library
card is necessary for creating an
account and using our web services.
How do you get a library card?
You get a library card by producing identification.
To borrow, use the automatic lending machine
with the card or your personal identity number
and PIN code. If you’ve lost your library card,
inform your library

Lending period
The lending period is normally 4 weeks. The
lending period for reserved books and express
loans is shorter.
Renewals
If the book has not been reserved you can borrow it again up to 5 times.
Reservations
You can reserve a book and be notified by SMS,
e-mail or letter when you can fetch it.
Fines
Adult book 3 kr/day. Charge for reminder 10 kr.
For child’s book reminder charge only.
Maximum per book 50 kr.
Max. charge for return of books on same occasion 200 kr.
You are liable for replacement of any book lost!
The legal guardian is responsible for children’s
loans
