9) The contest will be held rain or shine. Cancellation will be determined by Town
Officials only. (Alternate date - Sunday, September 25, 2016)
7) All fish must weigh a MINIMUM of nine (9) pounds in order to be weighed in.

8) Weigh in time will be no later than 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the
Theodore Roosevelt Park boat ramp.
Every entrant who registers by September 11th will receive a tournament tee shirt and
is automatically entered for various raffle prizes, which will include a 10 ft. Solstice inflatable boat and 4 H.P. Mercury 4-Stroke outboard engine, 8ft. Solstice inflatable boat
& 3.5 H.P. Mercury 4-Stroke Outboard. Electronics, Rods and Reels, Ice Chests, Water
Skis, Restaurant Gift Certificates and much more. All contestants in Tournament are
automatically entered in Prize Drawings.
6) Bluefish must be caught by hook and line ONLY.

the Town of Oyster Bay Bluefish Tournament is an event that anglers should most definitely
not miss.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Bluefish Tournament veterans know first hand that this event is among the finest of its
kind in America. It is beautifully run and provides all participants with an enjoyable day of
competitive fishing. Everyone who participates will receive a tournament T-shirt and will
have an opportunity to win raffle prizes, mementos and gift certificates.

The 31st Annual Oyster Bay Bluefish Tournament is scheduled for Sunday,
September 18, 2016. Once again, we are expecting a tremendous crowd as the
tournament’s popularity grows year after year.
Awards Ceremony, Giant Raffle & “Tail Gate” Party will begin Approximately 3:00 PM
for all Participants. You MUST BE PRESENT to win Raffle Prizes. I.D. Required.
All Participants entered in Tournament are automatically entered in Raffle Prize Drawing.
