Precision Dyna-Tip Trout - 6' High Floating Tip (90')
Casting performance and precision presentation in one line! The Precision
Dyna-Tip compliments today's faster rods for peak casting performance at
any distance. The Rocket 2 taper loads quickly for accurate close casts, and
when you need to reach out, acts like a shooting head for maximum distance
with minimum effort. Mint Green color for angler visibility. The 6-foot sage
green tip is formulated from a proprietary material that floats higher and
lands more softly than conventional fly lines. This means better presentations
and no annoying "tip sink". Precision formulated for minimum memory, the

Precision Trout - Western Drifter (90')
The "Western Drifter" was engineered to meet the challenges of "big water",
East or West. The modified Rocket2 taper loads with a minimum of line for
easy pick-ups and quick shots to those fast water pockets, but will also reach
out with ease for longer casts. An oversized running line section allows easy
mending and better line handling, and our special core and jacket
formulation means almost no "memory" for reduced coiling. The easy to see
Mango color helps you track your drift and the specially formulated 3' "DynaTip" keeps the line tip floating for less drag, easier strike detection and better
hook sets. Whether you're drifting a pair of bead heads under an indicator,
fishing dries in the pockets or swinging a streamer, the "Western Drifter" is the

"Rocket 2". A taper that lets you load even one of today's fast action rods
with a minimum of line for precise, in close casts, but acts almost like a

Precision Sink Tip - Type 3 / Type 6 (90')
The Precision10 foot, type 3 (3.5-4 IPS) sink tip line is a great trout line when
fishing nymphs and streamers. TheType 6 is extremely effective for large
trout, salmon and steelhead when a faster sinking tip is required. Big water
and fast moving rivers offer special challenges to every angler. The Precision
Type 6 tip will drop at 6.25 to 7 inches per second, getting you to where the

The Precision Tropic Plus Tarpon is the line you need when you want to catch

Cortland’s Dyna-Tip Avacado 5 weight (WF). Having a good floating fly line tip is of the greatest
concern when nymphing without indicators, especially in many competitions where indicators are
not legal. The avacado color gives my presentation stealth while the visible sage tip not only
aides in strike detection, but has the buoyancy to suspend heavier nymphs. Even when
using indicators the line is a joy to work with because the line can be easily mended
simply because of how high it floats on the surface. My number one problem
when mending is having a fly line that partially sinks. However, it is a great tool
for working dry flies as well. If an angler is looking for a line that can handle
both big nymphs systems and delicate dry fly presentations then they
should seriously look at purchasing a Cortland Dyna-Tip fly line.

than on the top. Sinking lines get the fly down to these deeper feeding
locations. Because feeding patterns, water depth and current vary, Cortland

The Cortland Endurance large arbor fly reels provide all the features you need at a very attractive price. A large arbor spool
for quick retreive with a soft polyurethane handle for added comfort. An enclosed disc drag system that is fully adjustable
through a large, easy to turn polyurethane drag knob that is handy when fingers are cold or wet. Additional drag can be applied via the exposed rim. Retaining lever allows for easy removal and locking of the spool to the frame. The disc drag was

Cortland Precision XC fly rods are a celebration of Cortland’s
ninety years of providing anglers around the world with
fine fishing tackle. Precision XC rods are light, crisp and
handsomely finished in a deep brown mahogany color with
matching wood tipped grips. The Precision XC Series are
constructed of high modulus graphite with coordinating

ENDURANCE FLY RODS
Cortland Endurance fly rods will exceed the expectations of
even the most critical angler! The Endurance series has a rod
to tackle every fly fishing situation from trout and panfish
to bass and light salt water. The current line-up starts with
a delicate 61/2’ 4wt and goes on up to a 9’ 8wt with fighting
butt. Endurance rods are designed utilizing a special 3 layer
HM 45 graphite, with an ultra thin graphite outer scrim layer
for strength and durability. The finish is a unique and visually
stunning translucent olive flake that sets these rods apart
from every other rod on the rack. Guide and trim wraps are
tan with silver trim. Fresh water models sport a beautiful
woven reel seat filler, while salt water rods have anodized
hardware. Actions are medium fast and easy to cast, but will
carry amazing amounts of line when called upon to do so.
