M72A2 Assembly Instructions

Assembly steps:
1. Attach rear sight to outer barrel with aluminum trigger bar inserted within using four short screws.
2. Attach front sight to outer barrel using two short screws.
3. Attach rear cover; manuever fixed inner screws around aluminum
bar at rear and screw onto end cap using the two longer screws provided.
4. Attach front cover; move inner sliding cover to rear of inner wooden slides. While slipping
the front cover over the front sight, manuever the rear lip of the inner sliding cover into the hook
located at the end of the aluminum bar. Manuever the rear portion of the front cover around the
thumb trigger of the aluminum bar. Screw into place with 10 short screws.

After assembling the M72A2 successfully, you should be able to grip the rear portion of the
rear cover and while pullng back forcefully, the inner barrel shoud extend from the outer barrel
until the base hex screw catches within the clear plastic retainer hole.

screwing front sight
together.
Align the bent portions of the sliding cover and aluminum bar. The end
of the aluminum bar is used to open and close the sliding cover during
the extention/collapsing process.

Collapsing:
To collapse the M72A2, pull the plastic retention clip over the base hex screw. Gently push the inner barrel
back into the outer barrel. When half-way, manuever the rear sight into the rear cover and do your
best toalso press the front sight below the inner sliding cover as it slides forward.
The entire process for collapsing the M72A2 is a bit tricky, but with a little practice it
does become easier.
