IMPORTANT SAFETY MESSAGE
Children are attracted to, and can operate firearms which can
cause severe injuries or death. Prevent child access by always
keeping guns locked away and unloaded when not in use. Otherwise,
you may be fined or imprisoned.
Firearms Safety Depends on You!
A gun is only as safe as the person operating it. You can never be to careful when handling a
firearm. Carelessness, such as failing to keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, not being
sure of your target and what is behind it, failing to engage the safety properly, leaving ammunition
in the chamber or using improper load is often the cause of shooting accidents. Since a bullet
can never be called back once on fired, such errors in gun handling can result in the loss of life,
severe injury or property damage. It is thus crucial for your safety and the safety of those around
you that you learn the principles of safe gun handling and storage before you begin to use your
new firearm. Be a safe shooter - please read this instruction book thoroughly even if this is not
your first firearm purchase as not all firearms are the same. The first step in being a safe shooter
is to learn the rules for the safe operation and handling of firearms. There is nothing more
important in gun handling than safety.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF FIREARM SAFETY
The Ten Commandments of Firearm Safety must be read and understood before you begin to
handle firearms. These rules are intended to be followed by all persons handling firearms in the
field, on the range, or at home. Please read, review and understand these rules before you begin
to use or even take your new firearm out of its box. Remember, firearms safety depends on you!
Commandment #1
Always Keep the Muzzle Pointed in a Safe Direction.
This is the most basic and important safety rule. A safe direction is one in which an
accidental discharge will not cause injury to yourself, to others or property. This is
particularly important when loading or unloading your firearm. Never point your
gun at anything you do not intend to shoot. Treat every gun as if it were loaded at
all times.
Commandment #2
Firearms Should Be Unloaded When Not in Use.

Operating Principle: Knowledge of how your SAS12 Shotgun operates will make you a safer
shooter and a smarter user, better equipped to resolve malfunctions.
As the bolt assembly moves to rearward position, the bolt slide of the bolt assembly pushes the
hammer backward laying to the disconnector and makes engagement on the disconnector notch
and simultaneously the trigger catches the hammer and holds it (and will release only when the
trigger is pulled). As the bolt moves forward it strips a round of ammunition from the magazine and
pushes it into the chamber. When the bolt’s front face makes contact to the chamber, and the trigger is
pulled the hammer will now release hammering the firing pin and makes contact with the chambered
cartridges primer, causing ignition. Again, the cocking handle retracted, the extractor pulls the empty
cartridge case along with the bolt and ejects it from the open chamber. The bolt’s rearward movement
is stopped when cocking handle reaches the end as it bumps to the end of the slot. When the bolt
starts forward, driven by the cocking handle’s push, it strips a round from the magazine and pushes
it into the chamber. The shotgun is now ready to fire another round (when trigger is pulled), thus
starting the operating/firing cycle once again.
Malfunctions are usually the result of worn-out parts, improper out-care of the firearm, or the use of inappropriate
ammunition. Have your shotgun checked regularly for worn-out parts by a qualified gunsmith. Make sure you

Model SAS12 Shotgun Background - your new SAS12 shotgun’s design was inspired by
the M4 carbine that was based on the original AR-15 made by ArmaLite. While your new
SAS12 fires in pump-action mode, it shares the M4’s attribute of being lightweight,
compact and easy to use.
Operational Characteristics:
The SAS12 shotgun is a compact pump-action fast reloading shotgun with a detachable
box magazine. It is composed of the following major components: barrel upper receiver,
lower receiver, bolt lock, bolt, bolt slide, firing mechanism and magazine. Its easy to use
mechanism is complemented by its quick and straight forward disassembly procedure for
cleaning and maintenance. It is equipped with a non-adjustable rear sight and front sight.
Attachments points for sling swivels are located on the collapsable butt and on the swivel
ring next to the forearm tube. This pump-action weapon fires with distinct and recognizably intimidating shots.
STEP 8: Hold the cocking handle with your right hand
and slowly pulling it rearward for the bolt assembly be
easily taken-out from the rear of the upper receiver
as seen in illustration # 13.
