PBIS Pep Rally
Beverly Hills hosted it’s first annual PBIS pep rally. Masters of Ceremonies, Ms. Corbin and Mr.
Smythe, promoted the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Program that Beverly Hills
embodies. This program is built around the motto: “Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful.”
Students watched staff compete in games. The students also answered questions related to the
BHMS PBIS matrix. The questions pertained to the ways we can be safe, responsible and respectful
in the halls, bathrooms, assemblies, classrooms, cafeteria, and more. If students answered the
questions correctly they could pick prizes from buckets. Bucket filling is the theme of BHMS this
year. Saying nice things, smiling, or helping others can fill their bucket. Beverly Hills students and
staff have been “filling buckets” each day. BHMS is proud to start its year off with this positive theme
and the first annual PBIS Pep Rally!
