ESPRI™ 2P Uncompromised Ultralight Despite its ethereal weight, the Espri™ 2P tent gives up nothing in terms of interior volume, sturdiness, features, top shelf fabrics, and hardware. The mesh inner tent is perfect for stargazing, and thanks to innovative hardware, the fly can be attached in seconds when unexpected weather rolls in. The Espri™ 2P utilizes our modular vestibule system so you can choose between the included Ultralight Fly Door and Standard Vestibule or the optional Trekking Pole Vestibule depending on your desired balance of weight and space. Includes GREEN™ anodized DAC Featherlite® NSL poles, Ultralight Fly Door, Standard Vestibule, Gear Loft, stuff sack, stakes, and repair kit. Optional Footprint, Pawprint™, Gear Caddy, and Trekking Pole Vestibule are available. for detailed setup, care, and repair instructions, visit: www.nemoequipment.com/support 40" 86" 52" Capacity: Avg Minimum Weight: Avg Packaged Weight: “On the Fly” Weight: Packed Dimensions: Frame: Shell Fabric: Fly Fabric: Floor Fabric: Floor Dimensions: Interior Height: Floor Area: Vestibule Area: 2 3 lbs, 7 oz (1.5 kg) 4 lbs, 10 oz (2.1 kg) 2 lbs, 4 oz (1.0 kg) [Fly, Poles, and Footprint only] 18" × 7" dia. Utilizing bends in just the right places, this pole set creates about one and a half times the volume of standard unbent pole sets of similar weight. Pre-bends are a very good way to increase your living space without increasing your burden on the trail. 2. Jake’s Feet: The corner anchor system from DAC makes tent setup faster and easier. The main poles attach to the anchors by ball and socket. When the fly is attached, the Jake’s Feet act as cantilevers to pull the corners of the inner tent closer to the ground. The Jake’s Feet also allow you to set up your fly and poles without the inner tent to create a convenient tarp/shade shelter. 3. Superior Hardware: Several innovative pieces of hardware are used to increase the ease of setup and strength of Espri™ 2P. A Swivel Hub locks the poles together at the top while Jake’s Feet lock the poles to the corners of the tent. Sliding pole clips make the rest of the tent setup a snap. 9 4. Interchangeable Doors and Vestibules: The simple Ultralight Fly Door of Espri™ 2P is a good way to save weight if you have extra space inside and don’t need a vestibule. If you’re willing to carry just a few more ounces, you can bring the Standard Vestibule instead, which provides extra storage outside and a dry entry to the tent. If you travel with trekking poles, we encourage you to purchase the Trekking Pole Vestibule because it is a remarkably efficient way to add significant extra storage space and a very spacious dry entry. 5. Volumizing Side Vents: The sides of the Espri™ 2P fly can be guyed-out for extra lateral ventilation. You can also use the convenient clips on the fly to attach directly to the side of the tent at these guyout points. When you pull the fly, you will then also pull the side walls and expand the interior volume of the tent. 6. Rear Scoop Vent: A reinforced hoop keeps the rear vent deployed at all times, allowing low-to-high ventilation. The vent construction is fully seam taped and weatherproof. 7. UVX Window: The vestibule includes a UVX window so you can check conditions outside without exposing your gear to the elements. The window is optically clear, non-yellowing, non‑clouding, UV resistant, and remains flexible in cold temperatures. 8. Gear Loft: The Espri™ 2P Gear Loft adds additional overhead storage without compromising floor space or elbow room. The mesh Gear Loft is perfect for drying clothes or stashing gear for quick access. The Gear Loft has an additional mesh gear storage pocket and two Light Pockets™ which diffuse the light from your headlamp and cast an even glow throughout the tent interior. Optional Accessories 1. Footprint: The Footprint is a 70D abrasionresistant nylon fabric ground sheet perfectly sized to fit underneath your tent. The fabric is PU coated for waterproofness. The Footprint reduces wear and tear on your tent floor from contact with the ground. 2. Pawprint™: The Pawprint™ is a removable liner perfectly sized to fit inside your tent. It has the dual function of protecting your tent floor from boots and paws, and of adding serious comfort. The Pawprint™ is made of a machine-washable brushed polyester that is very soft to the touch. Place your sleeping pads between the Pawprint™ and floor to help them stay in place. With a clean, soft Pawprint™ under you, you might be able to save some weight and travel with a lighter sleeping bag or blanket. 3. Gear Caddy: The Gear Caddy adds an additional storage unit to the foot end of your Espri™ 2P tent with Light Pockets™ and multiple organizing compartments. It can be used with the included Gear Loft to store items for quick access, or can be left at home when it isn’t needed to save a little weight. The Light Pocket™ disperses light from your headlamp to cast an even glow over the whole tent. 4. Trekking Pole Vestibule: The Trekking Pole Vestibule, a unique NEMO innovation, zips directly to your fly and utilizes one of your trekking poles for support. It creates a vestibule with a far bigger volume and floor area than the Standard Vestibule but with very little additional weight. Besides sheltering more of your gear outside the tent, it also serves as an easier entry/exit. It’s a remarkably efficient way to add space to your tent if you’re already carrying at least one trekking pole. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP To contact NEMO Customer Service Email: journey@nemoequipment.com Phone: 800-997-9301 1 Stake Corners (optional) Secure the corner anchors by pounding the stakes into the ground with a rock or hard object. If the ground is too hard, tie the anchor to a rock or another heavy object. 2 Jake’s Feet Press the ball ends of poles into the fittings (Jake’s Feet) at the corners of the inner tent being sure to match pole color to anchor color. Make sure the button on center swivel is facing down. 3 Clips and Center Swivel Attach the black clip at the center of the mesh to the clear swivel between the main poles. Attach the rest of the inner tent to the main poles with black clips. 4 Attach Fly Clip the corners of your tent fly to the last bar on the Jake’s Feet. Pull firmly on the adjustable corner anchors. 5 Attach Vestibule and Tension Side Vent Zip the chosen door/vestibule to the fly. Stake out vestibule and side vents. For maximum volume, attach the small hooks on the bottom edge of the fly to the webbing loops on the inner tent. ©2011 NEMO Equipment, Inc. ® Remember to leave no trace.
