Renault Bass Reflex sound system - the sound experience
The Clio’s style is also expressed through sound. Depending on the model, this sound is delivered by two
innovative systems with premium sound quality.
Space inspired sound system designed to amplify low frequency for your very own in car concert.
Travelling in the Renault Clio lets you enjoy music with the very best in sound quality. Choose the
optional Renault R-Link and benefit from the 3D Sound by Arkamys® system, which provides exceptional
sound depth and your choice of setting in the cabin with six speakers set around the inside. The space
distribution created by the digital signal processing software provides an unparalleled sound clarity.
The driver can also select where they want the sound. Driver only, front seats, or the entire vehicle.
The Renault Clio also introduces the Bass Reflex system, an innovation available as standard on all
versions. Its clever system of acoustic nozzles, integrated in the front door speakers, recreates the

Automatically turns off the engine when the Renault Clio
is stopped and in neutral, cutting down on emissions, fuel
consumption and noise. Restarts instantly, smoothly and
without vibrations. (Available on all manual engines)
Energy Smart Management (ESM)
By recovering kinetic energy when braking and decelerating,
ESM optimises the consumption of electrical energy and helps
recharge the battery.
Automatically adjust the flow of air through the radiator to
the engine's cooling requirements, improving the vehicle's
aerodynamics and fuel consumption.
To reduce fuel consumption even further, the driver can select
ECO mode, which modifies the vehicle's acceleration,
torque / power management and heating / air-conditioning.
Innovative Overboost technology provides ENERGY TCe 90
Stop & Start engines with increased levels of acceleration. With
temporary additional torque and power, the Overboost allows
more responsive starts from take-off and improved acceleration
at wide open throttle. This improves both driving pleasure and
confidence; facilitating exits at crossroads, merging from entry slip
roads and overtaking.

"It is possible to be dynamic yet conscientious, sporty yet relaxed, active yet level-headed. You can be both a
racing driver and an eco driver". This is what the Renault Clio has taken into account. But what is eco-driving?
Patrick vincent, driving eco2 project manager at Renault's planning and environment division, explains.
Driving habits are changing – that is a fact. Encouraged by the media, manufacturers and authorities, the
concept of eco-driving is gaining ground every day. More relaxed, cleaner driving, lower fuel consumption
and less vehicle wear: the arguments in favour of eco-driving are plentiful. And the results speak for
themselves: Eco-driving produces average fuel savings of 5 to 10%! With eco driving, fuel consumption
and CO2 emissions can be cut by 25% (depending on the driving conditions and driving style of motorist).
Eco-driving comes as second nature to the Renault Clio. Its innovative technology gives each driver even
greater control over fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Various assistance tools on the instrument panel
make things easier; an indicator shows the best moment to change gear, whilst another assesses your
driving style (green, yellow, orange) as part of the R-Link system. By activating ECO mode, you can benefit
from engine settings optimised for more restrained, economical driving. Eco-driving: yet another discovery...

The Renaultsport Monitor v2 is a unique performance tracking system
providing the driver with real-time data. Available across the Renaultsport
range, the system takes its inspiration directly from technology employed in
motor sport and, until now, seen only on a small number of prestige road cars.
The Renaultsport Monitor v2 collects data through a series of sensors
and drivers can scroll through the system’s different functions using
the steering wheel mounted controls. Information shown on the main
dashboard display covers:
• data for the main engine functions including oil temperature and brakes
plus real-time engine performance data (torque, power)
• transverse and longitudinal g-force
• lap timer, with memory function
•p
erformance data, such as acceleration times
On Renault Clio, the Renaultsport Monitor v2 also enables the driver to
modify the throttle pedal mapping. With the 'Sport' mode selected in
the Renaultsport Dynamic Management system there is a choice of five
throttle settings (linear, normal, snow, sport and extreme). These will adapt
the car’s acceleration characteristics to the conditions or to the driver’s
demands. In addition, the gap between the up-shift warning bleep and the
rev-limiter can be adjusted in 50rpm increments from zero to 2000rpm.

4 YEARS RENAULT ASSISTANCE
Your vehicle is covered by a warranty package for up to 4
years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first). The first 2 years are
unlimited mileage, followed by a further 2 years up to 100,000
miles. Your dealer is able to repair or replace, without charge,
parts that are found to have a material or assembly defect that is
recognised by Renault. The paintwork warranty runs for a period
of 3 years and the anti-corrosion warranty for a period of 12 years.
Should you need it, we’ll provide emergency roadside repairs or
tow you to the nearest Renault dealer. This service is available
24 hours a day, every day of the year. Renault Assistance Cover
provided from months 0 to 48 includes, assistance at the roadside
and home, national recovery, onward travel with European cover
from months 0 to 36 only. Cover includes mechanical or electrical
defects covered by the warranty.
SERVICING
Take advantage of Renault’s suite of Service Plans available over three or four years. The 3 year/30,000 mile (whichever comes first) Service
Plan is available at the recommended retail price of £399 and the 4 year/40,000 mile Service Plan available at £599.
The Renault Service Plan covers the manufacturer’s minimum service and maintenance programme requirements including parts, labour
and VAT, but excluding normal wear and tear items such as brake pads, windscreen wipers or tyres for the period chosen.
FINANCE OPTIONS
There are a wide variety of ways in which the purchase of a new vehicle can be financed. Renault Finance offers all of them, so whether
you’re a fleet buyer or private buyer, Renault Finance is ideally placed to tell you which plan or combination of plans best suits your needs
