Posture management is a 24 hour approach to the handling, treating and positioning of
an individual. Many of our clients spend a long time in their wheelchairs every day. We
believe that our clients should be as comfortable and well supported as possible during
this time.

Over the last 30 years we have developed and refined a range of specialist seating
and wheelbases for effective posture management. Listening to feedback from clients
and carers our products are designed to meet the needs of the most complex postural
requirements.
The seat is then manufactured at our
facility in Staffordshire, UK.
The finished seat is then supplied and
training provided to the parents/carers.

Wheelchair Service Centres working with SOS are allocated regular clinic sessions along with a designated clinic
specialist providing continuity of service and allowing effective forward planning for special seating commitments.
Clinic dates are set well in advance, allowing a timetable to be adopted benefiting both the wheelchair service and
clients attending special seating clinics.

Foam Cast
Seating System
The MSI remains one of the most effective forms of
specialist seating. Tried and tested, MSI’s provide
accommodating postural support and correction.
The Foam Cast seating system is made using
extremely soft, low-density foam. Ideal for pressure
management and managing sitting tolerance.
Moulded seating can be tuned to suit the specific needs of
each client making it the best choice for complex needs.
Foam Cast seating is created using processes developed by
SOS. It is ideally suited to more delicate clients with acute
postural needs.
The MSI Moulded Seat Insert is extremely light compared to
other seating solutions, it can be interfaced into a variety of
wheelbases including the SOS MoJo and Miko range.
The Foam Cast technique can be used for full seating
systems, cushions, back supports and sleep systems for 24
hour postural management.

The 3D modular seating system combines 3D custom
moulded components with 2D modular elements.
Suitable for straight symmetrical postures that
require a little extra support.
The Matrix seating system is made with flexible elements
that can be adjusted infinitely. The latest generation Matrix
components are stronger, lighter and more stable, also
offering good ventilation.
Effective seating for more complex needs, 3D modular is
ideal for clients with some asymmetry. The 3D components
help improve sitting balance for clients that need extra
support.
The more intimate shaping improves general comfort and

The BM is a soft positioning system designed to
introduce basic midline posture control to very
young disabled children for early development.
Tried and tested, the BB seating system is suitable
for use from a very young age and can be integrated
into most special seating wheelbases and buggies.
The BM seating system is lightweight and attaches and
detaches easily to the MacLaren Major Buggy frame. Ideal
for families with young children, the Major Buggy folds down
like a regular pushchair for easy storage and transport.
Based on the 90-90 seating principle, the BB seating system
helps establish a stable midline posture. The seat is able to
withstand heavy use. It has few moving parts reducing the
need for maintenance. Each seat is tuned to meet the client’s
specific requirements.

Parents and carers can now use a mainstream
pushchair with a range of SOS special seating.
The BB Plus takes the principles of the standard
BB seating system and adds a large range of
adjustment. This makes the BB Plus capable of
accommodating growth and changes in posture.
The Baby Jogger Buggy, City Select is a high quality
pushchair with quick release seating. Easy to fold
and very light, the Baby Jogger is one of the most
convenient special seating buggies available.
The adjustment options of the BB Plus increase the life span
of the seat. It includes adjustment to the backrest angle for
maximum comfort.

The Mojo wheelbase range incorporates the lessons of 30 years manufacturing to provide a versatile, reliable and attractive
wheelbase solution for both clinical and individual needs. All seven models are designed, developed and manufactured at our

Stroller
Pushchair looks and manoeuvrability combined with
