Internal hammertone finish at top of reflector to prevent lamp voltage rise on HPS and reduce bright spots beneath luminaire. Eight distinct reflectors, each providing different light distributions ranging from Narrow to Very Wide. Primary path reflector shape elements eliminate secondary reflections for higher efficiency. • DUST-TIGHT CHAMBER: Sealed optical chamber provides dust-tight enclosure to ensure maintained light levels. Cast aluminum lens frame accommodates Glass, Teflon, or Glass/Teflon lens assembly; fully gasketed and secured to the reflector using stainless steel screws and hinge. Teflon lenses resist dirt and dust build up transmitting 5% more light. Gasketing is high temperature silicone. • BUILT IN MODULARITY: Wide-Lite’s modular optics hang ‘hands-free’ on a hinge for quick connect installation, and easy, safe disconnect for servicing and re-lamping. The electronic control device employs an integral start-at-high period of ~15 minutes when the ballast is first energized, allowing lamp arc-tube to warm up and stabilize before dimming. Control input of the Dimming Module requires additional wiring than standard lighting circuit. The control wiring may run in the same conduit as the lighting supply wiring, according to CEC C22.2 Sec. 12-904 2c. The default light level is Low when at 0V input to the module. High level is activated instantaneously when the control-input voltage is turned ON. Control-input voltage can be selected between 120-277VAC, or 347VAC (see next page for ordering details). • SWITCHING TYPE: Switching devices provide manual or automatic control of lighting system. Each manual switch (HLMS1) represents control of one zone, for on/off and High/Low, via switching the control voltage on and off. Occupancy detectors can be used for complete automatic control. A Master Ballast may be incorporated to supply the detectors and control circuit with 120VAC.
