Master Logo Where possible the logo should be reproduced in CPA’s brand colours. Single colour black or white versions of the logo are permitted in certain circumstances. Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland Identity Guidelines — Version 1.0 2 01.2 Using the logo The logo has a minimum clearance space which must be observed at all times. This clearance space is the size of the letter ‘C’ in the logo, therefore the measurements of the clearance space are always relative to the size at which the logo appears. In all CPA print and screen communications the logo should appear at the top left corner. The minimum clearance space (above) must be observed. For A4 or larger documents a margin of at least 12mm on all sides is preferred. In order to preserve the legibility of the logotype it must be reproduced at a minimum width of 42mm. Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland Identity Guidelines — Version 1.0 42mm 3 01.3 Incorrect use of the logo Changing or attempting to simulate the colours of the logo. Changing the relationship between the elements in the logo. Removing any part of the logo. Changing the proportional values of the logo. Placing the colour logo on a dark background (the white version of the logo should be used in this instance). Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland Identity Guidelines — Version 1.0 4 01.3 Changing any of the typefaces used in the logo. Incorrect use of the logo (cont.) CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS Placing the logo directly onto a textured background, photograph or illustration. Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland Identity Guidelines — Version 1.0 5 02 Logo sub-brands CPA’s new identity system includes a number of sub-brands. These sub-brands are subject to the same usage guidelines as the master logo. Note: Use of the CPA Skillnet mark is subject to Skillnet’s brand guidelines.
