Greetings from JBHS Football Booster Club
Greetings from the Student Athletes, the James Bowie High School Football Program and the
Bowie High School Football Booster Club! Bowie High School is rated an exemplary high school
in the evaluation by Austin Independent School District, as required by statute. Consistent with
the high educational standards, the Bowie High School Football coaching staff requires good
character and good performance on and off the field to participate in the football program.
Athletically, the Bowie Bulldog Football team is coming off a tremendous 2015 season, built on
outstanding performance over the last decade, and is looking forward to another exciting 2016
football season. The Bowie High School Football Booster Club has been very busy creating
additional avenues to partner with the businesses in our community who are loyal supporters of
our football program. Community support is essential to the success of Bowie Football and is
greatly appreciated and remembered by the coaches, athletes, parents and fans!
Bowie High School is the largest high school in the Austin Independent School District, with
nearly 3,000 students. We are proud to offer new and exciting opportunities for our sponsors to
advertise your businesses with Bowie nation and all of Central Texas. During the 2016 season
from August to November, all Bowie Football games will be broadcast live on 1130 AM or
105.9 FM radio, plus all playoff games. The GAME DAY LIVE Radio broadcasts along with
the GAME DAY football programs benefit the student athletes in our community and promotes
your business to tens or hundreds of thousands of families who listen to the weekly radio
broadcasts and attend our games. We also encourage you to go online and visit our exciting,
interactive website which receives approximately 20,000 hits a week during the
season to highlight our Top Dawg sponsors and attract heavy traffic through social media.

safety first. These funds have enabled the athletic program
to replace outdated shoulder pads and helmets.
