The unusual construction of a cutting machine enables high precision cutting. Its construction is based on a long-time experience and modern high pressure water stream technology. Our device is equipped with modern amplifying high-pressure pumps which are currently the highest world standard. The pump manufacturers are the industry leaders - UHDE from Germany and KMT form USA. Integrated diamond cutting heads are the best heads available on the market. Many elements which are subjected to water are made from stainless steel. Passage elements and steering system elements are additionally protected by flexible bellows shields. Driving system, that is, servomotors, planetary gears, precise slide-ways and accurate toothed bars guarantee long life-span as well as a high precision. DRIVING SYSTEM A lengthwise driving system moves a cutting machine’s portal on a lengthwise route. Two synchronized servo-drives, a right one and a left one, placed inside machine’s side cars are used. In order to prevent any damage of moving parts of a driving system, the system is protected by a lateral shield. Transfer of the driving system from a driving engine’s shaft is carried out by means of a toothed wheel moving along a toothed bar fixed to a lateral surface of aluminium driving profiles. Lengthwise drive was constructed so that it prevents forming of empty spaces between a toothed wheel and a toothed bar. Toothed wheel is constantly clamped to a toothed bar by means of a clamping spring, which guarantees a long-term stable drive work. Transverse driving system moves a device’s slide across the cutting machine’s portal. Driving system is mounted on a device’s slide. Transfer of the driving system from a driving engine’s shaft is carried out by means of a toothed wheel moving along a toothed bar fixed to an upper surface of an aluminium portal. Transverse drive was constructed so that it prevents forming of empty spaces between a toothed wheel and a toothed bar. Toothed wheel is constantly clamped to a toothed bar by means of a clamping spring, which guarantees a long-term stable drive work. Water tank is a self-supporting construction. Its function is to accumulate water and abrasive material used during the cutting process; moreover, water in a tank is to suppress the energy of a cutting stream. Upper side of a tank is composed of a frame with supporting sheets which include WEMA gratings. The gratings and a scaffolding construction create a working table where a cut material is placed. Output stream has by default the pressure of up to 4000 bar or optionally up to 6000 bar depending on an applied pump. Depending on client’s needs and expectations, OPAL WCS cutting machines can be equipped with: - tank cleaning system, - abrasive material recovery system, - sensor of the distance between the device and the material, - anti-collision sensor. Due to this fact, the STANDARD-UHDE series became a leading European standard in clean water cutting, as well as in abrasive material waterjet cutting. Pump parameters are operated from the main control panel. All parameters, including output pressure, oil temperature, oil pressure etc. are analyzed in real time. The pumps are cooled using air, which enables additional use for the produced heat in room heating. Siemens engines and Parker hydraulic elements used in the pump provide high working performance, Specialized system of liquid preparation eliminates pressure fluctuations, enabling uniform work. The pump is equipped with stepless regulation of output pressure available through the control panel. UHDE Gmbh also designed the original solu- tions for high-pressure equipment elements. Examples include the patented high-pressure non-return valve with improved durability and easy servicing, and reliable pressure reduction unit (used for fast and safe release of pressure after machine shutdown, or for pressure reduction while making the opening hole in brittle materials). Symmetrical, unmanned high-pressure accumulator was designed using the „metal on metal” method. Elimination of threaded joints in the accumulator’s construction increased its lifespan. In HPS/HPD-type pumps, an innvative - symmetrical - high-pressure cylinder was used. During a prolonged use f the pump, operation marks appear on the inner surface of the cylinder, within the sealing workspace; also, lifespan of the sealing is noticeably decreased. In this solution, the highpressure cylinder can be rotated and the sealing may be installed in the part of the cylinder that was not previously used. photo 1 Service car The pumps are equipped with a special service car, which allows the client to change the sealing without the need of moving the heavy high-pressure cylinder to the work table. Going through the water orifice, it creates a very narrow stream. The abra- During the process of abrasive cutting, a suspension of abrasive and water is formed in the tank under the work table. If the cutting process is intensive, the sediment may quickly fill the tank. What is more, the sediment may become caked and hard to remove. It is a very time-consuming and strenuous work, that is why we propose an automatic suspension removal system that cleans the tank while cutting. The suspension is directly pumped out of the tank during the cutting process into two sediment tanks. This guarantees high effectiveness of the filtration process. The precipitated sediment is gathered in filtration bags, so called BigBag, which may hold about 4.0 Mg of sediment. This process is friendly for the environment. In addition, the abrasive material recovery system may also be included with the station. Water softening system Water softening devices are selected based on maximum flow per hour. The basic training takes 2 days. There is an option of organizing additional training, customized in accordance with client’s needs. Delivery time ECKERT machines are delivered within 8 to 12 weeks. Qualified ECKERT personnel has a long experience in conducting trainings. The training consists of two stages: 1. Training for process engineers from chosen software. Available applications: ECKCut IBE, Finest ECKCam, Lantek, SheetCad. Training time depends on the type of application. Basic training module consists of 2 training days. After the training, the application along with the key and manual are given to the participants. Final provisions ECKERT provides FREE instructions on positioning and executing a foundation construction project, instructions on space development for the machine in accordance with the effective regulations, as well as information concerning gas and electric installation and machine earthing. Machine RAL colors : 5002, 7035 Warranty ECKERT machines have two years warranty. Damage caused by user error is not covered by this warranty. Consumable parts such as nozzle, orifice, seals and check valves, etc. are excluded from this warranty.
