GREATER PACIFIC NORTHWEST-USA MISSION CENTER
Live, Love, Share
At youth camps and reunions, we join together in community to be renewed, challenged, empowered, and sent forth. We make and renew friendships, work and
play together, laugh a lot, and share our hopes. We discover our gifts and talents,
increase our acceptance of others, and rejoice in our growing relationship with
God. We unite in continuing our efforts to be about the mission of Jesus Christ.
We look forward to sharing this powerful and unique experience with you and
your family, as a first-time camper or returning camper.

Junior High
GPNW Jr. High Camps offer a rich experience of growing in
relationship with God, Jesus, and others during a very important formational period of a child’s life. At a time when kids
start to question their understandings, our Jr. High camps
provide a safe, loving place to address their questions and
thoughts. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught in such a way
that the child learns about a loving God who does not judge,
but offers grace. At Jr. High camp, they learn that a relationship with their Creator can be fun, as well as transformational.

Senior High
GPNW Sr. High Camps further the deepening of the connection
with self, others, and God. Campers are taught to have an awareness and appreciation of the blessings they experience. Our Sr.
High camps provide a safe place to struggle with the complexi-
3
ties of life, while nurturing personal and communal growth. It is
here where campers learn to be real with themselves and others.
There is a focus on disciple formation by learning more fully
about scripture, mission, and the nature of God.

reduced rate will NOT be given after the Early

Assistance Form is on page 7. Financial assistance must be approved and confirmed before

DAYS prior to the start of camp. All cancellations after that will not be refunded, including
leaving camp because of behavior, medical, or
personal reasons.
Registration Info
Special Needs Campers
Parents of special needs campers must contact
the Camp Director prior to registration to
discuss arrangements for a possible attendant
(who must be a registered youth worker).
Because we have volunteer staff, the camping
program is not equipped to provide trained assistants. We want to be inclusive in our camping program, and also want to provide a safe
and secure environment for our campers.
Visitors at Camp
We offer a “closed camp” experience at our
youth camps. There are to be no visitors unless
recruited by the Camp Director. This includes
youth who cannot attend the whole week but
want to drop in for part of the day. Visitors
cause disruption to the camp experience and
create potential safety concerns.
Transportation
Transportation to and from camp is provided
by the parent/guardian. If your child is sent
home for behavior or health concerns, it will
be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to
arrange transportation from the campground
in a timely, efficient manner.
Campers should arrive and depart camp according to published times. Late arrival or
early departure will not typically be allowed, as
they are disruptive to the camp experience. If
you have special circumstances, seek the Camp
Director’s approval in advance.
Personal Items
The camp and Mission Center are not responsible for any lost or stolen items at camp.
Medications
All medications must be listed on the registration form. Prescribed medications must be in
the container dispensed by the pharmacy, with
pharmacy instructions intact. Over-the-counter
medications must be in the original manufacturer’s container, labeled with the camper’s
name and specific instructions. All medications
stay with the Camp Nurse in a secure location.

Caravan & Spec
Caravan
Plan Now to Attend in 2016!
Caravan, also known as Youth Venture for Christ, is a group of high school youth from around the mission center that travel
to different areas of the church, performing a worship service and/or musical program. The youth also perform service
projects in the areas visited. Caravan is: * Lots of fun! * An opportunity to travel and make lots of new friends along the
way! * A time for spiritual growth as you discover your own personal testimony of Christ and share it with others!
Contact Caravan Directors Troy and Jody Barnhart, 541-747-6728 Home, 541-913-7168 Cell, caravan@cofchrist-gpnw.org.
