On the road to becoming a Hip Hop pioneer, KRS ONE tells the story of his life as a young man living homeless on the streets of Brooklyn, sleeping in parks, the subway, all the while visualizing his path to becoming an emcee. Eventually landing in the Bronx, he begins to find his voice in rhyme battles inside New York's shelter system and on the street. Told in his own words both on and off the stage, KRS ONE: Brooklyn to the Bronx tells the first chapter of Hip Hop’s master teacher and true philosopher. The Filmmakers Directors and Producers: Seth “Brimstone127” Schere is a dynamic leader, educator, activist and artist who embodies Hip Hop’s “Can’t stop, won’t stop!” attitude. As a show runner, producer and writer his work has been seen on A&E, Food Network, National Geographic Channel, VH1 and E!. He specializes in creating and writing fun projects that secretly encourage people to think about their world in a whole new way. Jerry Kolber on Twitter Jacob Schere is a photographer who has made Tokyo his home. His photography has been published around the world, including work with, Blackpool, ISM and a special publication of Fabrica’s NOTEBOOK project book Faces. He maintains a photography blog that features his work and the work that inspires him at Lucid Communication.
