2015 Third Quarter - Sanctuary Belize Independent Owners
Dear Sanctuary Belize Owners, Fall is here, and with it the rainy season has brought us much needed rain. The rains, however, have not slowed progress and we continue to move forward completing critical infrastructure and progressing on projects within the Marina Village. On the residential front, we have seen significant progress on existing builds, as well as new homes breaking ground across Sanctuary Belize! In our effort to continue to provide utility services throughout the Development, additional water lines are on order that will allow us to further expand our infrastructure into areas selected within various subdivisions. These selected areas can be found on the Development Progress Map and civil works are expected to commence closer to the beginning of the dry season. After wrapping up the utility underground works for the front row of the Sapodilla Ridge waterway lots, our crews have moved over to the Marina Village, and have also completed the laying of water lines and required work in preparation for the electric company. Electrical infrastructure of the final portions in phase one of the Equestrian Estates has now been finalized by the electric company. They have now moved on to the front waterway portion of Sapodilla Ridge. Once finalized, they are scheduled to continue their work inside the Marina Village, which will ultimately provide power to the Gas Station/General Store and Marina docks. Our road crews have improved drainage and the widening of a portion Marina General Store and Gas Station of the All Pines Road leading into the development as an additional safety measure due to increased traffic. Final capping of all roads within areas of completed utilities (Waterway Village and Sapodilla Ridge front row) will commence as soon as the weather permits. Marina Bar & Restaurant Design BEL: High tension lines to Sapodilla Ridge Waterway front lots are two thirds complete. Beach Club Lounge Chairs Sapodilla Ridge/Marina Electrical Components At the Marina Village, the Sanctuary Park & Organic Farm continues to take shape as landscaping progresses with the rains. Upon entering the Marina Village, you will also notice that the grassing of hill one and surrounding areas have made a positive impact. The General Store has also made significant progress, with the roof, windows and lighting installed as well as the painting of the building. Current work includes the installation of the hardwood ceiling, air conditioning, followed by the laying of tiles. The General Store and fuel docks are on schedule to open for business in Spring 2016. The marina bar & restaurant design has been progressing well, and we are proud to present initial concept renderings. As the design is still in progress, the renderings are subject to change. We hope to present the final design and renderings by end of year! In addition to the bar & restaurant, planning and preparation of the Marina Green area and hill New foal born at Equestrian Center two within the Marina Village continues. The fine-tuning of the building concepts, additional utilities and general flow within this area is underway. In addition, the Sundry building, located on the fuel dock, is expected to break ground in the near future. Additional Sapodilla Ridge/Marina Electrical Components Over at the Beach Club, visitors and residents can now relax on our elegant handcrafted hardwood chaise loungers, customized by our inhouse carpenters. After hour guests will also appreciate the newly lit pathways, the completed parking area and landscaping. On a final note, we are pleased to announce the birth of a new foal at Sanctuary Belize. In early September, "Jilly" was born at the Equestrian Center. She is growing up beautiful and strong, and loves to run and play. I thank all of you for your continued support as another successful summer has come to a close. We are excited to focus more on the Marina and expect much progress in this area. The staff and I take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sincerely, Johnny Usher Principal Marina Village: Click to view progress map 1.
