James Johnson RESPONSE TO THE WORD Apostle's’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, Hallelujah! It’s a good thing to sing praise to our God; praise is beautiful, praise is fitting. God’s the one who rebuilds Jerusalem, who regathers Israel’s scattered exiles. He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds. Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does. SENDING FORTH HYMN OF DEDICATION* No. 420 Breathe on Me, Breath of God The altar is always open for open for spiritual commitments and spiritual renewal.
