Sprockets And Taper Lock Bushings
All Martin sprockets are either finished bore or taper lock
bushing style. When taper lock style sprockets are ordered,
the taper lock bushing must be ordered separately.
Drive Belts
The cogged construction of Goodyear belts provides the high flexibility
required for small sheaves, typical of drives with relatively short center
distances. The cogs also provide a larger surface area to dissipate heat
and prolong belt life. These belts eliminate mismatch problems as each
belt in a single length codes is identical in size and performance to every
other belt in that size, no matter when it was produced.

Air Cylinders
These air cylinder assemblies are for
the Salem valves in a Waconia blending
tower. In 1992 Waconia Manufacturing
made a dramatic improvement in this
valve assembly by eliminating the open
and close solenoids and the exhaust
valve. Those three items have been
replaced in the valve by one MAC valve.

Conveyor Belting
The ”Z” profile moves smoothly and quietly on the return side, reducing the vibration that causes slippage and roll back
of granular and free-flowing materials. In most cases, it carries up to 30% more product because of its unique continuous
design. However, it also allows for drainage when transporting wet products without changing the direction of the profile.
Z-Belt is formulated with PVG, a MOR moderate
oil resistant, fire retardant, static dissipative
compound, with environmental cold temperatures
resistance.
Z-Belt is excellent for conveying oily fertilizers,
wood products, grains, agricultural products,
and animal feeds. This unique design is used on
inclines, flat, troughed, and tubing conveying.

Norway Bolts
The Norway bolts are made from stainless steel
and include a stainless steel nut. Flatwashers
and lockwashers are recommended but need to
be ordered separately. The unique Norway bolt
design allows the elevator bucket and leg belt to
be bonded tightly together.
Tapco Elevator Bucket
Tapco heavy duty elevator buckets are
injection molded from prime virgin
polyethylene. They are highly abrasion
resistant and will give and bend to pass by
obstructions. They are heat and cold resistant
and drilled for mounting to leg belting.
Leg Belting
FEI stocks top of the line leg belting. It is
super oil resistant, meeting OSHA and MSHA
application requirements. Maximum resistance
to oils and dust suppressants additives. It is also
static conductive and fire resistant. Improved
low temperature properties prevent pulley
slippage during cold weather start ups.

Waconia Accessories
Salem valves are used mainly in
Waconia tower systems. They are
made of 10 gauge mild steel or 12
gauge 304 stainless steel. Both have
a stainless steel basket and flanged
inlet. They also have two hole
flange bearings on each side of the
main shaft holding the basket. This
increases valve life under severe
working conditions.
The telescoping dust spout is a new and less expensive version
of the Dust Devil. It has a stainless steel upper spout section with
mounting holes. Six heavy duty buckets extend to 10’ 4” and collapses to 25”. It is shipped completely assembled for easy installation. The manual spout comes with a 1000# winch complete
with braided rope and pulleys. It ban be installed as a dust spout
on a tower system, load out conveyor or just to hang on existing
spouting, anywhere that dry fertilizer is loaded into rolling stock
where dust is an environmental concern.
