EHS REFERENCE GUIDE • Login Information. The employee will receive an email from ehshelp@gsinc.com. The email will be sent to his/her primary email address, the link username and password will be in the email: https://classroom.gsinc.com/login.php • Login. Employees can log in using the Username and Password from email. For courses that appear on “My Start Page” upon login to Granite University From My Start Page: • • • • • • • • Click a course to enter Review the announcements Select a language under content navigation on the right Select “click here to start” The content video will open in a new window Review the course content Close the content window Access the test using the Tests & Surveys tab in Granite University ACHIEVE EHS REFERENCE GUIDE • My Start Page • The boxes that say “Alumni” are the courses that have been successfully completed • The boxes that say “Student” are the courses that need to be completed (allow 45-60 minutes for status to change from “Student” to “Alumni”) • Click the picture to open the course • Review the Announcements section • Click Chapter 1 in the Content navigation section • Click to launch course content • Course will open in a new window • Once the course content is complete, close the course window • To access the test: • Use the home tab and click “Tests & Surveys” • Or click the Test & Surveys tab and select English, or the language in which you prefer to take the test Frequently Asked Questions / Troubleshooting Tips To Change Password: 1) Log in with username and password 2) Click Profile Tab 3) Change password & click Submit EHS REFERENCE GUIDE If you are experiencing problems navigating the course content: Always use Internet Explorer to access course content. EHS Learning content performs optimally through IE8. The course content does not play in Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome. If you are using Internet Explorer and the content will not play, be sure you have adobe flash player 9.0 or a newer version. ►Here is the link to the free download: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=DXLUJ Once you have downloaded the flash player, follow these steps to ensure the content is not blocked from your computer: • • • http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04a.html make sure "always allow" is checked restart all internet explorer browsers ►If no arrow appears to advance from content shown on the welcome page, press the F11 key on your keyboard. This will display the content window in full screen mode and may fix the problem. EHS REFERENCE GUIDE Are your Pop Up Blockers on? If Yes - Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Set to Low – make sure your Pop Up Blockers are not switched on – click on “Apply” & “OK.” Is the browser zoom setting set to 100%? Zoom setting can be found at the bottom right hand corner of the screen in IE or, if not showing there, go to the Gear icon (see below). Do you have any of the following Add Ons or Toolbars? • • • • Comet Cursor Ad Zapper Weather Bug Search Bars that aren’t built into the browser (such as Google Search, Yahoo Search). Yes – Either uninstall them, or determine how to disable them temporarily EHS REFERENCE GUIDE Delete your cookies & temp files : Go to Tools Dropdown Menu > Select Internet Options > In the General Tab in the Browsing History Section ‘Delete browsing history on exit’ should be checked. To clear the cache, click on the Delete button here, then ensure that all the boxes are checked, then click on the Delete button.
