Dear Executive,
Over the past year, family offices have had to make investment decisions amidst uncertainty and extreme levels of
volatility. In addition, the family office model has evolved with many becoming multi-family offices or setting up their own
investment vehicles. In our 4th Family Office Leadership Summit we will provide you with insight into how different
family offices across Europe have tackled these challenges.
During these two days, you will hear directly from the heads of the family office, discussing what their outlook for the future is,
and how the family office business model is evolving. For the first time, we will bring a global perspective with a panel of family
offices from around the world. Furthermore, you will discover some of the most innovative funds in the industry. By the end of
the two days, you will have made new business contacts, and had unique exposure to innovative investment opportunities.
You’ll find that, many of the UK and Europe’s leading family offices make up our outstanding speaker line up, sharing their
thoughts and expertise on current issues. Particular highlights include:
■A keynote address from Sir John Madejski OBE, DL. Knighted for his charitable services, he will share his experiences of
successful wealth creation, preservation and philanthropy
■A CEO roundtable session involving Iveagh Private Investment House, Eagles Ventures, Old Hall Lane and Church
House Trust Plc, join the debate with the fantastic line up of CEOs who will be discussing best practice and the future of
the family office model
■John Redwood, Chairman at Evercore Pan-Asset Management and Jonathan Bell, CIO at Stanhope Capital joined
by other industry experts will once again come together to discuss current investment opportunities, performing asset
classes and the outlook for 2011
■A dynamic discussion of the family office as a viable business with insight from Richard Fitzalan Howard, Chairman
of FF&P Asset Management Rico Baumgartner, CEO of the Baumgartner Frey Family Office amongst other leaders of
family offices from across Europe
■An exploration of the results of the recent study, conducted among wealthy heirs, into successful wealth transfer by the
Guidato Family Office. Marijke Kuijpers, Partner and Raimund Kamp, Partner will share their insights for the critical
success factors in sustaining wealth across multiple generations
■The opportunity to participate in an exclusive Champagne Roundtables, discover sound investment strategies, effective
risk management and robust governance solutions specific to your family office needs
Beyond the comprehensive programme of panel discussions and presentations, the summit also provides an exclusive forum
in which representatives from leading family offices can come together to share ideas on how best to meet the challenges
facing their firms.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to the event in September,
With best wishes,
