City Attorney Michael Cirullo explained that the quit
claim deeds were needed
as the residents’ seawalls
were damaged during construction work on Bridge
204 by the Florida Dept. of
Transportation contractor.
The replacement seawalls
had to be constructed on
the waterway side of the
original seawalls; these fall
outside the property lines
of the owners and create a
new “sliver” of real property
beyond the original property
line. Commissioners unanimously approved the three
resolutions.

bargaining
mously approved a resolution approving a collective
bargaining agreement between the City of Lighthouse
Point and the Broward
County Police Benevolent
Association.

been part of the South Working group for the past two
years. Some of the RMAs
are very good. Some need
to be changed or removed,
but all of the 68 RMAs now
need your input. If you are
a fisherman, diver or boater,
I encourage you to take the
time to read each one and
comment because your ‘nautical view’ will be altered in
the near future.
