In addition to these, ResoRock Girls performed at Finlandia Hall at KeMuT –concert organized by Kehitysvammatuki 57 ry. All events went well; thanks to the Resonaari musicians for the great performances! Pictures from the events can be found on our Facebook page: www.facebook.fi/Resonaari. In the spring there will be more events: the Pressa Spring Flea Market in March, Resonaari club nights in April, and two Resonaari soi –concerts in May. We will publish the preliminary dates of the Savoy concerts in this bulletin. We will send more information about the concerts, performers, and ticket sales later via email or mail. Awards from Kehitysvammaliitto and Kehitysvammatuki 57 In November 2015 Kehitysvammaliitto granted Special Music Centre Resonaari the Aino Miettinen recognition award. The award was given during the opening of Kehitysvammaliitto’s study days at Paasitorni on Wednesday 4.11.2015. Kulosaaren puistotie 26, 00570 Helsinki www.resonaari.fi | resonaari@resonaari.fi | Y-tunnus 0116487-5 According to the rationale of the award, Resonaari has been a trendsetter and has greatly advanced the equality of people with disabilities throughout its existence – over 20 years. In January 2016 Helsingin Kehitysvammatuki 57 ry awarded the directors of Resonaari, Mr Kaarlo Uusitalo and Mr Markku Kaikkonen, for their “persevaring and meaningful work with mentally disabled people in the field of music”. Try playing the trumpet in the spring: 8 lessons / 50€ Are you interested in playing the trumpet? We offer Resonaari students a trial period of trumpet lessons.
