Ordering Instructions
1. Proof: If you check the box for a proof, you will be
charged $15.00 and a proof will be emailed or faxed
to you.
2. Quantity: If none is indicated, one will be made.
3. Item Number: Indicate item number to designate
which item will be ordered.
4. Extra Charges, Additional Fasteners or Sign Holders:
Indicate item number of any extra charges you’d like
to add to your product. Also use for ordering additional
fasteners or additional sign holders.
5. Typestyle: Indicated a typestyle from page 34-35. If
a typestyle is not specified, 43C or B07C (Swiss Caps
or Gothic Caps) will be used for all products unless
an exception is noted. Maximum number of lines and
characters for stamps are based on 8 pt. Swiss Caps.
Please contact customer service for information on any
other products.
6. Logo or Format Number: When ordering a Stamp,
Logo Badge or Sign with a logo, indicate a Stock Logo
number from page 35. You may choose to submit
camera ready art. When ordering Round Stamps,
Round Daters or Embossers, select a format shown on
the product’s page. A wider variety of logos is available at
www.Navitor.com
7. Embosser Direction: Specify one direction from which
you will be using your embosser: top, bottom, left or
right of the paper for a Seal Embosser; from the top or
the bottom for the Stationery Embosser. If a direction is
not specified, the Seal Embossers will be made to be
used from the left and the Stationery Embossers from
the bottom. See page 15 for examples.
8. Finished Size: If ordering a Rubber Stamp, Sign or
Badge of a different size not found in this catalog,
call for a quote and indicate the finished size of
the product.
9. Ink/Lettering Color:
Stamps: If an ink color is not specified for Stamps and
Date Stamps, black will be used. Special exceptions may
be noted by certain Stamps. Certain Date Stamps are
available with two ink choices. Indicate copy and date
color choices in Special Instructions. If no ink colors are
selected, defaults will be used. Refer to defaults per item.
Plastic Badges & Signs: If a plastic color is not specified,
S6 (Black Sign with White Lettering) will be used.
Banners & Magnetic Signs: If colors are not specified,
Black with White letters will be used on Economy Banners
and White with Black letters will be used on all other
Banners and Magnetic Signs.
Sign Holders: If a sign holder color is not specified,
Gold will be used on Metal Holders, Clear will be
used on Plexiglass holders and Black willl be used on
Plastic Holders.
10. Plastic Stock Color: Indicate color combination from
page 29 to be used for engraved badge or sign.
11. Information Desired on Product, Special Instructions:
Please print or type clearly in the space provided. Attach
an additional sheet if necessary. Use this space to
also indicate any special instructions or logos. Indicate all
typestyles used on this order. All copy is typeset to fill
stamps and all other products will be produced using our
discretion unless otherwise noted in Special Instructions.
Please attach a sample whenever possible.
Wall/Door Sign Mounting: Choose from Adhesive Backing, Foam
Tape, Drilled Holes (screws not included). Magnetic Stripping
(extra charge), Velcro® (extra charge). With Velcro®, specify hook
(used for cubicle walls, etc.) or loop side when ordering. If not
indicated, hook side will be used. If a mounting option is not
indicated, adhesive backing will be used.
Multi-Color Orders: Please include color separations.

• You will need to provide clean, black and white artwork
scaled to fit the impression area.
• Artwork for Economy & Durable Cut Vinyl Banners should be
scaled down to 11”x17”.
• Photocopies or faxes will only be accepted for signature stamps.
• Art must be at least 600 dpi.
• Screens are not available on all items.

Full Color Artwork Guidelines
• Creating your Full Color Process Files as Adobe® Acrobat PDF files:
Create one item sized correctly per document. Please name the PDF you
send without punctuation of any kind (except .pdf) and keep file names short.
• Fonts: All fonts must be embedded OR using your illustration program,
convert all text "to curves" or "create outlines" in your files. Never use the
stylization palette to bold, italicize, add drop shadow to or put outline on your fonts. If you are using fonts not owned by Navitor, outlines must be created in an illustration program before submitting your artwork.
• Bleed Requirements: Unless otherwise specified, .125" (1⁄8") should be
allowed on all sides.
• Graphic Requirements: All placed graphics and images need to be high quality, colored according to our guidelines for the product ordered. Whenever possible, place vector images into the layout before converting
to a PDF. Please be aware that when changes need to be made to placed images (coloring, mode, etc.), there is the possibility of the quality being
compromised.
• Full Color Process Color Requirements: Every element of the file must be colored with process CMYK colors. If RGB or other non-CMYK colors are used in your files, the necessary conversion to CMYK will change the
appearance of the colors when we print, sometimes dramatically.
• Printing Black: To ensure the best possible results for your order, it is
important to use printing black (C80%, M80%, Y80%, K95%) where large
areas of black will be printed. If the CMYK mixes used in your file do not use Printing Black, we will use the file as is and print with no guarantees.
