Welcome to our 2013 catalogue
The economy still seems to be struggling along, but the media would have us believe things are getting better, let's hope so.
Our new 2013 pink brochure is packed full of things to help bring smiles to many faces and many occasions!
Our main items are Fancy dress, wigs and accessories, plus of course the traditional party items, party poppers, noisemakers
and balloons. Christmas is a very busy time for us, selling decorations in foil and old fashioned paper, crackers, Santa and
miss Santa outfits. Jigsaw puzzles go from strength to strength, we hold large stocks from the countries best suppliers. It’s a
massive range from 35 pcs for children right through to 5000 pcs, made especially for the real enthusiast. Fireworks are also
becoming more popular again as people look for something to brighten the mood. We hold a special license that allows us to
sell fireworks all year round to callers at our Portsmouth shop.
After our beginnings in 1923, U-need-us is now officially over 90 years old. We are very proud to have reached such a
milestone and dare I say happy to be so old! We had some wonderful celebrations in July with a fun day, competitions and
lots of reminiscing with members of staff from days gone by. We would still love to hear your recollections. Please contact
Sandra, who is pulling together all the memories and stories and is hoping to put them all into a publication soon!
