Honorable District Court Judge Caron Stewart, featured at top, far left.
Mayor Pro Tem/Commissioner Bob
Smith, top right, and bottom left,
incumbent Commissioner Craig
Honeycutt —assisted by his daughter, Savannah — were sworn in for
another term. At left, former Mayor
R.H. Ellington — shown with his

Smoke Testing
The Public Works Department will be performing
smoke tests on the sewer
line. Smoke may rise from
the ground, stream banks,
storm drains, manholes,
vents on building roofs and
clean-outs. Residents
should not be alarmed. The
smoke is non-toxic, nonstaining, has a mild odor
and creates no fire hazards.

Greetings to the fine
citizens of Angier ~
I am proud to have served
two years as commissioner
and look forward to serving
you four more years as the
mayor of this great Town of
Angier. I am appreciative of
everyone’s support and
with the Town Board, the
Town administrators, the
Town staff and citizens to
move our town forward in
the next four years.
I am very excited about
the projects we have under
way, including implementing a pump station and
new water tank in the
Johnson’s Landing area;
continuing to work with
CAMPO and the NCDOT
for improvements to Highway 55 and working with
our consultants, Town officials and our citizens to
develop a Comprehensive
Economic Development Plan
to enhance the growth
in our area. There have
also been some questions as to how citizens
may contact the Angier
Police Department during and after hours. For
all emergencies, please
dial 911. For all nonlife-threatening emergencies during the evenings, holidays and
weekends, you are
asked to dial 910.893.
