The Linen Road is a natural symbol of our history of
170 years dedicated to the love for linens, and to creation
and production; yet ultimately, it is the symbol of a infinite
road that winds around the world transporting the Fremaux
Delorme teams, animated by the passion for human
exchange and the dream for perfection of our products.
It is not a long tranquil route, but the reflection of life
in general, with success and victory, but also with pitfall and
defeat, carrying within lessons for the future.
We are pleased to embark our clients from all over
the world on this long road to spark wonder and dreams, all
the while succeeding in a world that is rapidly changing.
All of the men and women of Fremaux Delorme are
passionate and together, they will continue to travel down this
road while passing the torch of experience from generation

OVER TIME, FREMAUX DELORME
The story of the Group Fremaux Delorme begins
in 1845, and is a true tale of a family endeavor.
Ernestine Fremaux and her husband founded a linen
weaving company in the heart of the textile industry,
near Lille. Over generations, the group developed by
diversifying its activities, to include the production
of threads and canvases for linens, jacquards and even
fabrics for the clothing industry.
Under the stewardship of Dominique Fremaux,
the Group has become what is it today: when he
chose, by intimate conviction, to address the consumer directly by opening store, it was to recenter the
brand in a luxury position in home linens. This positioning and permanent research for excellence allowed the group to develop internationally
and to become the top French luxury brand for home linens.
In 1995,Yves Delorme had 45 boutiques, which has grown today to 450!
Another important and symbolic phase for Dominique Fremaux was in
2001, with the entry of the brand in the Comité Colbert, the temple
of luxury and French “art de vivre”: the sign that 20 years of work and
strategy had come to fruition; establishing the brand at the heart of the
world of French luxury brands.
In 2002, the Group Fremaux Delorme was created, with the ambition
to develop a fuller luxury strategy; newer concepts, and to follow design
trends and to privilege research. Today, the technical chain is complete;
from the conception phase to distribution, passing by production with a
sense of perfection.This reflects the nobility of materials and the requirement of attention to details that mirrors Haute Couture.
Creativity – Brand Development – Retail Environment - International
Presence are the pillars upon which Dominique Fremaux developed his
Group with an extraordinary savoir-faire in the textile industry. Today,
“Our strength lies in the concepts of our collections and in the quality of
our distribution,” states Dominique; which is most likely why he is very
dedicated to these particular subjects. When asked what is the key to his
success, he answers, without hesitation, “our products and our people”.
And this family story is not over, because the new generation has arrived.
Amaury Fremaux, 37 years old, has evolved with the group since 2003
and is currently the Director. As for Alban Fremaux, 32 years old, he is the
director of the subsidiaries in Japan and China.
The future of the brand is thus constructed with the 6th generation
of Fremaux, upon the spirit of the transmission of knowledge and savoirfaire and upon shared modernity.

THE HAUBOURDIN FACTORY,
in the North of France, near Lille, is specialised in the making-up and
the finishing of the bed linen. A hundred people prepare, cut, sew,
embroider and fold pillowcases, sheets, duvet covers, bed covers, etc. and
control the quality that is demanded by our customers.

OF CREATION ACROSS
INSPIRATIONS
The brand Yves Delorme, since the beginning of its journey
has been inclined towards creation, a passion for products, as
well as for poetry and amazement.
Beginning of course with Mr.Yves Delorme, the original designer of the brand who first collaborated with couturiers such
as Pierre Cardin in the 70s, in particular in the domain of bath
linens… always influenced by research for perfection, color
and form for the bathrobe. Later, with the merger Fremaux
Delorme, he passed the torch on to Mrs. Évelyne Julienne, designer in interiors, jewelry and art de la table. Évelyne became the
inspiration and creation of the new brand Yves Delorme for
over 20 years. Her marvelous hand guided us through the most
magnificent gardens, and encouraged us to dream of exotic and
far-away destinations. She left the mark of her style, gentle and
poetic, while weaving these seasonal tales that, bit by bit were
diffused across the globe in France and Europe, The United
States, Japan, Russia and Australia.
Évelyne Julienne
Évelyne, now desiring to fully dedicate herself to her artistic
vocation, will now pass the torch onward to Mrs. Laurence
Rouet, while inspiring her with her passion, her love for wellelaborated products and for the creative process. Laurence
knows quite well the world of home lifestyle, having collaborated at length with Fremaux Delorme through the licensee,
Kenzo. Laurence will trace her contemporary journey certainly
differently, reinforced by the two years spent with Évelyne, and
while lending her eye for fashion and her personal engagement!

THE BELMONT FACTORIES,
which specialise in wearing toweling, are situated in the centre
of France, near Roanne. Wearing is carried out in a modern
factory with 20 machines which ensure the production of
our jacquard toweling. Packaging and quality control are
carried out at Roanne. About 40 specialists are involved in the
manufacture, from mastering the weave to making the final
product according to its particular design.

THE LINEN ROAD
In 2015, the Linen Road is the echo of the Silk Road, of
dreamers of far-away lands, of adventurers in search for excellence and who, ages ago, wandered along these roads in search
of the ultimate fabrics.
It is also the joyous memory of these pioneers of our brand
who ventured out to conquer the West and who discovered a
unique market in which to offer a new vision of the French
luxury lifestyle. It is also those who journeyed towards the
Oriental lands of the rising sun towards new cultures to
sustainably establish the brand in local markets, eager for
French luxury products.
The Linen Road is also to weave together all of the individuals
of the group; manufacturers, studios, corporate offices, boutiques… in the seven European countries that we will cross
and then showcase on our blog, “The Linen Road.”
The Linen Road is in sum, the desire to share our love
for beautiful linens, our savoir-faire and our Yves Delorme
spirit.

A BEAUTIFUL OCCASION TO DREAM 2075
In 2075: Yves Delorme is at the heart of the nocturnal life
of its clients.
Despite technological and medical progress, individuals still
need to sleep, to dream and to revitalize. Time has become an
even more precious asset, as we attempt to best utilize the time
allotted to sleep and to the benefit of personal development.
In this framework, between Donkeyskin and The Fifth Element,Yves Delorme weaves linens as complex as dreams.
Bed linens have become alive and sensitive. They are aware of
our well-being: they diffuse essential oils.
Like the robe of many colors, bed linens takes on the color of
our interior: they reflect our emotions.

the body.
As with silver film, bed linens reveal our dreams in the morning; it is possible to record them, share them or simply erase
them.
To dry one’s face with a sensitive towel to “wash away”
the stress of the day is a luxury within reach: towels absorb
stress, care for the body with gestures of softening, hydrating,
calming or stimulating.
Home Linens are more than ever at the heart of our
intimacy.
They embrace otherness when table linens don welcome
messages to guests, or the colors of the countryside or seaside
to accompany the dishes that are served.
In 2075, in the Yves Delorme studio, designers still place finishing touches by hand, adding to the work done by precision instruments, this component of the soul, these timeweathered techniques, allowing for the ultimate experience
in weaving dreams.
