Everyone from the late Paul Harvey to The
New York Times has proclaimed comedian
Tom Mabe a “comic superhero” for tackling
pesky telemarketers, junk mail, bad customer
service and other topics that irk us all. By making
audiences across America laugh for over 15 years
about the annoyances of modern life, Tom proves
that it pays to think creatively. He can help your
team ignite a creative spark, too. Tom has been
profiled in People Magazine and was given
a perfect 4-star rating and called “gut-busting
hilarious” by the New York Post. Chances are
you have watched one of his viral videos. With
more than 50 million views on YouTube.com
alone, he’s one of the most downloaded people on
the planet.
shows, including The Tonight Show with both
Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. As an actor he’s
appeared in movies and TV shows, including
JAG and a recurring role as a judge on ABC’s
The Guardian. Creating hilarious custom humor
comes naturally and his stories of surviving two
battles with cancer, a stay in an African prison,
and one “near-fatal marriage” are as inspiring
as they are laugh-out-loud funny. From humble
beginnings as “the funniest paper mill employee
in Mississippi,” Mack earned a black belt in
karate even as he was earning his Masters in
Creative Writing. He won two Associated Press
writing awards as a reporter in his home state,
CE
and finally became a professional comedian
whose talent and perseverance landed him
numerous TV appearances and got him handpicked by Bill Maher to write on the acclaimed
show. Now based in Louisville, KY, he spends his
time writing and traveling the country bringing
his special brand of motivation, inspiration and
jubilation to thousands each year. It hasn’t been
an easy road; but, as he says, “Falling on your
face is still moving forward!”

Annual Golf Outing
In Memory of
David L. King
Annual Golf Outing
Join us for a relaxing day at the beautiful Coyote Creek Golf Club.
Come spend the day on a top-notch golf course to help raise
money for a worthwhile claims scholarship. We will be playing a
4-person scramble. The score or ability to play golf is not necessary
for the IAMIC Golf Outing—it’s all about networking and relaxing
with friends.
Coyote Creek Golf Club is a stunning 18-hole par 72 championship golf course designed by the late Bruce Borland, senior designer for Jack Nicklaus. This is one of the best courses in all of Central
Illinois. Visitors love our club for a wide range of reasons, from the
amenities found at our clubhouse to the beauty on our grounds.
There is a lot to like at Coyote Creek Golf Club. Our course is challenging, but never so much that it becomes frustrating. This is a
great golf facility for rookies and champions alike. Play at Coyote
Creek spans 6,700 yards of picturesque nature with 10 acres of
lakes, bent grass fairways and dramatic elevation changes, and
breathtaking scenery.
The games and registration will begin on Sunday, August 17, 2014
at 9:00 a.m. The fee for the “Golf Fun Day” is $70 per golfer,
which includes green fees, golf cart, driving range balls, lunch,
drinks and prizes.
This year the proceeds will again go to fund the David L. King
Educational Claims Scholarship.
