Replace Motor Control Board Remove RH cover, unsnap RH end of pot screw, position nut 3/16” from left stop. balance door by reducing spring tension. The TorqueMaster® idrive® has embedded software that will alert you to an out of balance situation and/ or a point or area of high friction in the installation of either the door or the operator. To use this feature and interpret the feedback from the operator; Run the profile routine. After completion of the profile routine, disengage operator. Slowly raise door manually (about 4 inches/sec.) As the door is moving you will hear a low frequency chatter. If there is a significant difference in the balance of the door either through out the entire door travel or localized, the frequency of the chatter will increase. You can move the door up and down slowly in an area of travel where the chatter increases in frequency to isolate friction issues. The operator will remain in the diagnostic mode until a power reset is performed or there is no door movement for 10 seconds. When the operator is in the dagnostic mode it will not process any Radio Frequency Commands (wall station, keyless entry, or remote transmitter). NOTE: The diagnostic routine will not detect door/track issues in the first 3” of door travel off the floor nor in the first 12” of close travel from the open limit.
