Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who has Sunday dinner every week with his four grandparents. All is well until Nick is offered his dream job. In Seattle. They don’t take the news well and begin a series of schemes to keep Nick in New Jersey, including baiting the trap with the lovely and single Caitlin O’Hare. Rated G Opening August 21, Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors is a boisterous comedy which takes place during one manic day of misadventures. Take one pair of estranged twins who do not know the other exists (both called Antipholous) and one pair of twin servants (both called Dromio), keep them in ignorance of each other, throw them into the same city at the same time and you have the chief ingredients for farcical mix-ups. This wild tale of mistaken identities and slapstick antics guarantees a night of rousing, side-splitting theater for the whole family. Rated G Tickets are now on sale at the Box Office or by phone at 266-0660 or 800-371-4747, or online at www.2ndspacetheatre.com Good Company Players’ production of the hilarious new musical The Addams Family opens at Roger Rocka’s September 18. The whole family is here; parents Gomez and Morticia, siblings Wednesday and Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmama and, of course, Lurch, the butler. Based on the hit TV series, the musical features an original story that’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents. Rated PG Tickets for The Addams Family are now on sale at the Box Office or by phoning 266-9494 or 800-371-4747.
