Personal Message from Karel Murray, CSP
Our world has evolved, parameters have changed, and the work environment now offers unlimited
possibilities. Through the power of storytelling I connect audience members by providing a glimpse into
a how a purposeful life filled with grace, fortitude, and tenacity can be achieved through collaboration.
Simply put, my job is to do everything I can to make your event a success and help you receive a great
return on your event investment.
I specialize in general session motivational keynotes with follow up breakout sessions that reinforce my
message of personal accountability. The programs specifically identify ways to create a cohesive,
ethical, business culture through building communication, leadership and managerial skills.
What have organizations such as Zurich North American Commercial, DuPont Crop Protection, and
Speaking of Women’s Health franchise experienced that you too can expect?
Content. I create relevant, up-to-date, content rich presentations that are customized for your
organization.
Reaction & Interaction. Making the audience comfortable is a high priority. My sessions aren’t a
success until I connect, respond, and positively interact with attendees.
Focus & Motivation. I deliver on track, active learning that has sticking power beyond the day’s session
and is guaranteed to enhance your event message and objectives.
How? Great Stories. Great stories make the message memorable and meaningful – the art of bringing
characters to life is something I focus on which in turn enhances the participation and enjoyment of the
participants.
Laughter. Clutched sides and cheeks that hurt from smiling too much? I’ve done my job.
What’s in it for you, the Event Planner?
Ease. I am dedicated to not only making you “look good,” but to making sure working with me is the
easiest part of your day. I promise to deliver personal, professional, top-notch service each and every
time. I’m known for it.
What’s in it for the audience?
As a result of hearing me speak, audience members:
• Embrace a “can do” attitude by getting focused on what are their issues and take positive action to
resolve them.
• Demonstrate a renewed confidence in their skills and contribution to their environment.
• Feel empowered to use more common sense in approaching business relationships.
• Embrace more ethical behavior on the job.
• Boost their ability to think inside the box and work to play to their strengths.
• Will feel invigorated and less stressed by the issues in their lives as they grow to appreciate the
concept of relational collaboration.
• Undergo a positive internal reinvention of themselves that enhances honest, accurate
communication and interaction with peers and family members.
“Karel has a unique gift in her approach, sharing life stories and reminding us all that we take life’s
situations too seriously. She gave us the insight to value our ‘circumstances’ rather than perceiving
ourselves as victims. Great speaker, excellent presentation.”
Christie Milligan, Skiff Medical Center

“What an enjoyable day we had! And your
presentation was a big part of it. When students
answered the rhetorical questions, I knew they
were connecting with you. Today, in our society,
we have so many kids that get pulled in directions
that look appealing and fun, yet once they are in
too deep, they find that life wasn’t as it appeared.
Your message spoke to those students. Your
encouragement of not giving up, not accepting
failure, is one they needed to hear. Your humor
brought the audience to the points you wanted to
make. I believe your message will stay with them
for a long time.”
Nancy Potter, Griswold Community Schools
