Although the PALFINGER PK 12000 crane with unit no. 8416455, year of construction 1984 - mounted on a Volvo N88 from the 70s - is no longer in use, it has far from served its time. Ernst Heiniger’s emotional attachment to this loader crane speaks volumes. When the vehicle was past its best, the Swiss businessmen had the choice of selling it or doing something with it. He simply couldn't bring himself to sell it. So he had it restored. This nostalgic vehicle is a reminder of the past and my pride and joy. It represents our company's reliability and down-toearth attitude. Then just as now. ” Ernst Heiniger back to the roots 3 1932-1964 pioneering phase 1964 1932 * Mr. Richard Palfinger set up the PALFINGER company as a repair workshop in 1932. It was extended into a metalworking shop and began to produce agricultural trailers, tipper trucks and vehicle bodies. The first crane was built in 1959. In 1964, the 22-year-old engineer Hubert Palfinger took over the company. Specialization in the production of hydraulic loader cranes was introduced. Cranes were first produced in series in 1966. Moments in time 1992 4 report 1965 -1995 development and establishment – the crane era 1971 / 72 The steep ascendancy of PALFINGER. The first exports to Switzerland and France took place following continuous development of the Austrian market. The export quota rose to 90%. PALFINGER advanced to become a technology leader in hydraulic knuckle boom cranes. 80 years close to the customer – Assignments from all over the world Practical Demonstrations from all over the world Our customers bring our products to life. We have been immensely proud to report on this in our customer magazine for 20 years. report 5 development and establishment – the crane era 6 report 1980s and 1990s 1970s Expansion of the business to the Pacific rim countries opened up new markets. A large number of patents revolutionized the loader crane. Advancement to global player and innovation leader. The export quota rose to over 90%. PALFINGER cranes were present in more than 70 countries. Repositioning and expansion 1996 to the present Development of key skills and new products. The core business was and still is the loader crane. In the course of product diversification, PALFINGER expanded its product range to include hookloaders, transportable forklifts, access platforms, tail lifts, … and developed into a sought-after system supplier. 80 years of PALFINGER 2012 20 years of palfinger world report 7 PALFINGER on principle Be it in industrial areas of large cities, in ports along the coast or construction sites inland, PALFINGER is ubiquitous in France. We met three successful companies in Brittany that work on principle with our lifting, loading and handling solutions. In Lannilis, a small town in the northwest of Brittany, we met Claude Tanguy - a businessman who has things firmly under control. He told us passionately about the history of his family business and his preference for PALFINGER cranes. His grandfather was already transporting coal, seaweed and fuel wood by horse and cart in 1925. After the war he began to specialize in construction materials. In 1947, the company imported its first delivery of timber from the north and a garage was converted into a sawmill. Nowadays 40,000 m³ of timber a year is processed into glulam and outdoor furniture in Tanguy’s workshops. In addition to the transport and trade in timber, Tanguy has also specialized in other construction materials such as flagstones, roof elements and ready-mixed concrete. Closely connected with this: acquisition of the first PALFINGER loader crane, followed by a further 23. “ PALFINGER cranes work fast and reliably. We couldn't and wouldn't want to be without the maneuverability and precision of our PK 22002 EH and PK 18002 EH models! ” Claude Tanguy is proud of his loader cranes 8 Loader cranes “ When we accept a job, it goes without saying that it will also be completed on schedule. We depend on the reliability of our machines to be able to do this. This means we need high quality products. Premium products à la PALFINGER! ” Marc Guénault is a man of his word A powerful loader crane, a perfectly matched vehicle body and the realization of an environmentally sound overall concept. The specifications of the Vinci Construction Group were clear and challenging. Based on their excellent experience with PALFINGER over the last 10 years, those in charge at Vinci Construction France decided when purchasing a new construction site vehicle to go for a PK 33002 EH. Thanks to its outstanding performance data and movement geometry, the crane can not only deliver materials to construction sites but can also position containers weighing between 5 and 6 tonnes. Both economic and environmental considerations played a huge role. The PK 33002 EH works on Panolin, a biodegradable oil. This means the ability to work in sensitive areas in an environmentally compatible manner. “ “Mobile cranes were no longer sufficient, the operating costs were too high and customers were simply asking for more,” is how Marc Guénault, head of the transport, handling and lifting company Sotrama, explains the market situation which caused him to switch to loader cranes. Not only did he bring new handling solutions to his customers. Marc immediately recognized the double advantage of a loader crane: in particular, the combination of transport and handling. With the help of two PALFINGER 18 meter tonne cranes, he instantly picked up new business in the industrial removals sector. This loyal PALFINGER customer’s most recent acquisition is a PK 50002 EH. It is a perfect compromise for the contractor: the crane's power enables it to transport heavy containers to the construction site. And thanks to Power Link Plus, it can also work effortlessly in industrial buildings. This generation of the PALFINGER PK 33002 EH is faster, the control elements are more flexible and I like the LEDs which display the crane’s carrying capacity in real-time. ” Crane operator Romain is completely happy Loader cranes 9 SH. a loader crane concept conquers the world “Always at least one step ahead of others.” – An unwritten rule at PALFINGER. The new generation of SH loader cranes is the best proof of this. “SH” signifies new heights of controllability and functionality with a hitherto unparalleled level of safety. Scarcely on the market and already a runaway success. In Europe, Asia, Australia – all over the world. Precise, safe and cost efficient Living, office, sanitary or storage containers are familiar and in demand throughout Europe. They are delivered exclusively using the company's own vehicles. 25 trucks are fitted with PALFINGER cranes, 10 of these with brand-new PK 34002 SH models. “We drive our trucks for around 10 years and 1 million kilometers. So the quality has to be right,” is how Tim Albers describes the demands made on the vehicle pool and the cranes. “PALFINGER cranes are the best on the market. They more than meet the high requirements for precision in our business. 10 Loader cranes The new SH models are real “high performers" which combine everything that the crane operator can ever desire in the way of control comfort, maneuverability, power and safety. The Soft Stop function protects the crane and the load, in this case the container, by approaching the limit position gently. This means that containers can be set down on the installation site with millimeter precision and without swinging using the active oscillation suppression system (AOS). This is particularly important if several containers are assembled into one unit and bolted together. The loader crane with reverse linkage also enables containers to be set down in otherwise inaccessible positions. Design elements protect sensitive crane components against dirt and damage. This cuts down on the cost and effort of servicing and maintenance and extends the crane's service life.” 25 15 TH TH company anniversary PALFINGER crane Continuous service for Helmut Leeb. The company has acquired a new PK 53002 SH – the 15th PALFINGER in its company history – primarily for transporting office, material and sanitary containers. “One has to keep pace with technical progress and preferably also take future specifications into consideration. At the same time, the sanitary containers are getting heavier and heavier, they now weigh up to 6 tonnes. You simply need more power if they are not going to be set down immediately next to the truck!” „All I can say is, buy one!” Extremely positive feedback from Ian Hosking, All Lift Crane Trucks in Melbourne, for his new PK 34002 SH. His new addition offers more power and at the same time whole package of revolutionary crane technology, “The outstanding innovation here is the Super-HPLS which switches in automatically. Where previously the operator had to react himself and activate additional hydraulic power by pressing a button, now the crane's control concept automatically takes over when lifting particularly heavy loads. Combined with all the other high-tech PALFINGER features, when it comes to safety, performance, comfort and functionality every requirement is satisfied in every way imaginable,” says Helmut Leeb, who has relied exclusively on PALFINGER products from the outset some 25 years ago. Technological advancement in Hong Kong Fourteen new PK 65002 SH models for Leighton Asia. “Handing over ceremony”: Terence Goh, PALFINGER ASIA PACIFIC, Bernard Hui, Managing Director of CAE, Ian Edwards, Executive General Manager, Brian Mackie, Financial & Administration Manager, Peter Lyle, Plant Manager. Loader cranes 11 Caution high voltage! Arnold AG, Energie & Telecom, has been using its PK 60002 Performance successfully for several months. It’s quite exciting working next to a 132,000 volt cable with it. A high-voltage circuit breaker was re-installed on the site of BKW FMB Energie AG in Wattenwil (Berne/Switzerland) following the completion of inspection and overhaul work. It goes without saying that you can’t simply switch off the electricity for a whole region because of this. A good 132,000 volts flow through the transmission lines immediately adjacent to the area that has been made safe. It doesn’t bear thinking about what would happen should contact be made with a high-voltage transmission line. “ We need equipment that is reliable even under difficult conditions. Precision controllability is an absolute must-have. ” Bernhard Sahli who works in Support at Arnold AG and who operated the crane on site was also emphatic on this point. The foundation stone for this is laid early on in PALFINGER's production. On one hand, thanks to the automated hexagonal boom production which processes high-strength steels into extension booms with constant and unvarying precision. This 12 Loader cranes means they can be extended and retracted evenly and smoothly on the crane. On the other hand, the hydraulic high-tech control block configured according to PALFINGER specifications is also a key element. It transfers the crane operator's control movements directly and precisely to the crane. The reverse linkage system which can be angled upwards by 15 degrees, the double knuckle boom system and the infinite slewing gear with two pivot drives which enables smooth, precise movements without bearing play all ensure maximum maneuverability. The PK 60002 with 6 hydraulic extensions is equipped with an additional knuckle boom system with 4 hydraulic extensions and 2.5 meter tonne cable winch on the main boom. Ernst Keller AG Thun, a long-standing vehicle body and service partner of the Swiss sole agency Walser Schweiz AG, was responsible for mounting the crane on the MAN chassis. “The customer’s demanding requirements were a challenge for us,” admits Ernst Keller looking back. “The aim was to combine the transport of ISO containers, an open heavy-load bridge, a covered superstructure with lifting platform on the back and last but not least to mount the 60 meter tonne crane permanently behind the cab with as low an installation height as possible.” sugar sugar In the Da Barra sugar factory, a company of the Grupo Cosan Açúcar e Álcool (Sugar and Ethanol Cosan Group), a PK 38502 by PALFINGER MADAL has taken on the task of manipulating bags of sugar weighing 1,200 kg each. Making lighter work of things in the truest sense of the word. Foresto, Usina Da Barra’s logistics coordinator, explains, “During harvest time, the crane basically works 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and moves 1,500 tonnes of sugar every day. We decided on the radio remote controlled unit with safety in mind. The well-lit stabilizers are also important. It isn’t possible to light the storage areas in order to protect the sugar from damage.” The PK 38502 was mounted at the rear of the truck to make it easy to work in storage depots. The sugar bags are stacked up to a height of 18 m in six different storage depots. According to Foresto, the company has made great savings since the sugar containers have been handled in this way. “Storage operations have become extremely profitable for the company because we supply our customers with packaged sugar.” Loader cranes 13 A whole fleet of specially constructed semi-trailers is needed to move the thousands of tonnes of steel devoured by Australia’s largest infrastructure project. Crane Trucks R Us is one of the companies benefitting from the current building boom Down Under. Fred Mohammed operates a fleet of 25 specially modified trucks and 20 trailers working out of Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle. Loader cranes are mainly used to deliver reinforcing steel to construction sites along Australia’s east coast. The $ 4.2 billion Brisbane Airport Link is one the projects currently being handled by Crane Trucks R Us. Since starting their work on the Airport Link, Fred and his crew have successfully moved more than 300,000 tonnes of steel and this is increasing on a weekly basis. “The Airport Link is currently one of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia so at least we are very busy. Our main task for the duration of the project, which is supposed to be completed at the end of 2012 is the provision and delivery of steel for tunnel construction.” The enthusiastic contractor says, “When specifying or adapting the trucks, we reinforced the chassis, installed a crane frame and then the crane itself. We use PALFINGER cranes that can lift between 3.5 and 6 tonnes. The safety of our drivers is important to us and this is why we mainly use fully radio remote controlled cranes which allow the machine to be operated even at a distance from the truck.” Crane Trucks R Us is considered to be the number one choice in transport companies for large and small projects in the building trade, industry, mining and the public sector. It intends to remain so too with PALFINGER on board. Four brand-new PK 14002 EH cranes are due to be accepted very soon. BUILDING boom 14 Loader cranes ALLROUNDER Power hookloader on Unimog An unusual combination on first glance. On second glance, the customized solution for municipal assignments and landscape design. The Zweckverband Bauhof Dettenhausen-Waldenbuch, a local authorities association, swears by the vehicle combination POWER P7.32 on UNIMOG U 400. Transportation of green waste, soil, gravel and chopped material or watering work - the suggestions are many. For starters, however, it is used for the winter gritting and snow-clearing service. The winter months offer little in the way of variety with the gritting unit on the hookloader. But if some other task is waiting at short notice, the unit can be swapped in just a few minutes. With the swap bodies used previously, this meant time-consuming conversion and load securing work. With the new POWER container handling system, the desired body is simply lifted on and locked in place at the touch of a button. Done! This time-saving means an increase in the vehicle’s overall annual utilization. The POWER container handling system becomes a real all-rounder mainly due to the use of different containers and swap bodies such as the dumping body, gritting unit, water tank, tool magazine and large volume tank. The universal usability of the UNIMOG itself further extends its range of applications. Equipped with four-wheel drive and a wheelbase of 3,600 mm in addition to a total weight of 13 tonnes for the winter gritting and snow-clearing service, the vehicle can be used to its best advantage in all areas. The POWER P7.32 can take containers up to 6 m³. It has a payload of 5.8 tonnes. Its unique boom geometry enables a particularly low loading angle and optimum power transmission. Both heavy material and loads that slip easily can be set down and picked up effortlessly. The container handling system is wear-resistant and easy to easy to install. Container transfer systems 15 Partnership with system The right loading aid for every job With 64 trading houses in Germany and Austria, WeGo Systembaustoffe GmbH occupies a top position within the industry. Specializing in the areas of drywall installation, insulating materials and technical insulation, around 350 vehicles are on the road every day supplying building sites with material just-in-time. “We see ourselves as trade specialists for processing companies within the construction industry that have to be supplied justin-time. We therefore place great emphasis on providing fully functioning, first-class services. Virtually any company can distribute building materials but getting the goods to building sites on schedule with the right logistics is quite a different matter and one of our strengths!” The vehicle pool manager says, “It is immensely important to us to have reliable equipment in terms of both the trucks and also the loader cranes, tail lifts and transportable forklifts. We set great store by having our own vehicle pool and our own deliveries. In any case, the customer has a right to have his goods delivered not only on schedule but in the best way possible whether this is by transportable forklift in the backyard or by loader crane on the sixth floor.” WeGo GmbH has been working closely with PALFINGER for 10 years; in the meantime around 70% of its trucks are fitted with loader cranes from Ainring. In the last two years, only PALFINGER products have been purchased. The company has recently also switched to this system supplier for transportable forklifts and tail lifts. The excellent score awarded by the drivers and the proximity to PALFINGER were the overwhelming reason for this switch. 16 Transportable forklifts GREEN Drive Many of those in the transport industry are worried about rising costs – particularly in relation to diesel fuel. The search for alternatives is in full swing. This also applies at WeGo. The three 12 ton trucks are fitted with new environmentally compatible tail lifts by MBB PALFINGER. They also work in hybrid design and without hydraulic oil. “ WeGo has bought three hybrid trucks in the last year. We need between 5 and 6 million liters of diesel fuel each year – the estimated 20% saving from using hybrid technology is already an enormous sum. „ the vehicle pool manager 1000 E with e-Drive. More environmentally compatible, quieter, cleaner. This tail lift has a future. Oil, valve and hydraulic hose changes are no longer necessary. It is even possible to make use of energy recovery. The time-tested mechanics of conventional tail lifts combined with the completely new design of the drive elements results in a sustainable and positive balance between technology and the environment. It has been demonstrated in daily distribution transport that the electric tail lift brings with it significant advantages particularly on cold winter days. By dispensing with hydraulic oil, which becomes viscous when cold, the 1000 E always offers the same lifting and lowering speed regardless of outdoor temperatures and therefore successfully withstands the effects of frosty weather. “Investment in environmental and sustainability topics should be an obligation rather than a fashion.” This is also the keynote at PALFINGER. The new 1000 E shows that green action is also costeffective. Tail lifts 17 ON THE SaFE SIDE PALFINGER RATCLIFF constantly invests in the development of appropriate features to reduce the risk of injury for tail lift users. This applies, for example, to new concepts regarding safety rails: Although the law only requires safety rails for tail lifts with a lifting height more than 2 m above the ground (e.g. when used in doubledeck vehicles), the requirements of employers regarding operator protection are increasing all the time. The safety rails originally used, which are housed separately within the vehicle body, are increasingly being replaced by models which safeguard the operator even before he accesses the rear of the vehicle. Lift with railings attached to guide rails. High perimeter ramp stops at the end of the platform. Nonslip platform coating for increased operator protection. Lift with lateral railings. Railings are attached to guide rails and therefore move with the platform. Railings on the back are stowed in the rear of the vehicle. All railings must be brought into position before the vehicle body can be entered. 18 Passenger entry systems non-stop mast erection From the beginning, the Austrian Federal Railways route network has used mainly concrete masts with a dead weight of between 2.5 and approx. 12 tonnes. Steel boxes with a rectangular crosssection are generally driven into the ground as mast foundations. The masts are lifted into these steel boxes using a crane and backfilled with split. The masts can be precisely aligned during this process thus compensating for any slight inaccuracies in the foundation. This mast foundation method offers a significant advantage when replacing masts. In this case, the split is only partially removed using industrial suction units and the crane can be used to simply pull the mast out. As long as there is no change in the position of the foundation, the foundation box can be cleaned within a few minutes and prepared to take a new mast. Thanks to a sophisticated vehicle solution by PALFINGER RAILWAY, 15 to 20 overhead line masts each weighing several tonnes can be erected or dismantled on each shift using only one unit! The PKR 750 railway applications crane plays the key role in mast erection. It is the perfect railway crane for lifting heavy loads underneath overhead lines. With this unit, masts can efficiently be erected beneath existing overhead lines without touching or even damaging the contact wire. It is even unnecessary to temporarily dismantle the overhead lines while the work is being carried out. The crane can work to its best advantage under existing overhead lines and other obstacles due to the reverse linkage boom. It is often impossible to use conventional cranes under such cramped conditions or using them would be associated with the high additional costs of temporarily dismantling these obstacles. The real work of erection or dismantling actually only takes 10 to 15 min per mast. Added to this of course are transport times for travelling to and from the construction site plus manipulation time if work is carried out under particularly cramped conditions and the load has to be attached and detached several times per work cycle. Fitted with a three-part PALFINGER PA 1002 access platform and a PFD 99 positioner for contact wires and carrying cables, the vehicle meets basically all the requirements placed on a stateof-the-art overhead wiring maintenance vehicle and a versatile troubleshooting vehicle. The multipurpose capability is significantly extended by hydraulic stabilizers and a counterweight which is installed on the vehicle and can be hydraulically positioned. All three work units, the stabilizers and the positionable counterweight are linked via the PALtronic 150 control system and networked with the vehicle control system. The new PAL 150 integrates full geometric measurement and stability determination in real time. The optimum lifting forces and work ranges are therefore always available depending on the operating state of all the units and components. Railway systems 19 Successful DOWN UNDER The vehicle pool of the Australian hire company LinCon Hire has already included PALFINGER access platforms for a number of years. With models from the Jumbo series and a WT 1000, the service company covers a broad range of applications Down Under. First WT 1000 in Australia. A maintenance job on the wire cables of a dragline excavator*) southwest of Mackay in Queensland was the first challenge for this access platform in the champions' league. The job was carried out on the orders of a large coal mining company. Although the assignment only took a few hours, it was nevertheless easier and quicker to set up a WT 1000 than a large crane with fly jib attachment and counterweights. Thanks to the gratifyingly good order situation, it was time to expand the vehicle pool by another four access platforms. So two units from * Dragline excavators are among the most important construction machines used for excavation work. Such excavators are equipped with an open bucket that is linked to the end of a long boom by means of a wire cable. The bucket is dragged along the ground using the wire cable until it is full of earth which is then unloaded in a different place. Dragline excavators are mainly used in the mining industry for digging deep holes. 20 Access platforms each of the WT 700 and WT 610 ranges were acquired for facade cleaning and renovation assignments, maintenance and installation work on overhead power lines, tree conservation jobs, glass cleaning work on tall buildings and maintenance work on large excavators in open-cast coal mines. These access platforms are particularly in demand for bridge inspection work due to their ability to work below ground level. By order of research and development Special jobs require specific solutions. Equipping the Japanese research ship “Hakurei” with different types of crane from PALFINGER MARINE was intended to ensure smooth operations on board. Following a two-year production period, the ship put to sea in February 2012 with a total of five PALFINGER marine cranes on board. Construction of the ship was commissioned by the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. with the aim of pressing ahead with the exploration of maritime resources around Japan's coastal areas. There is special interest in the mineral deposits and gas hydrates on the sea bed with plans to make them usable as energy sources of the future. The “Hakurei” was fitted with a large number of drilling and measuring instruments in order to fulfill the research commission in the best possible way. Five PALFINGER marine cranes are used to manipulate this equipment. Four knuckle boom cranes, two PK 50002 M cranes and two PK 90002 M cranes, work together. The first PFM 3500, a knuckle boom crane for extremely heavy loads, was also installed on board. This crane will also be used primarily for overboard activities. The designers at PALFINGER MARINE also had to tread new ground during this assignment. The first PFM 3500 marine crane with a lifting moment of up to 245 meter tonnes was designed. The many possible combinations of different marine-specific winches make the PFM crane series unique. It was this range of cranes which enabled PALFINGER MARINE to make the leap into the champions’ league of offshore crane systems. The completion of this project has established PALFINGER MARINE in the research business. This is confirmed by an enquiry from Korea for a project with an identical design and five PALFINGER MARINE cranes. Marine cranes 21 50,000 tonnes of household waste, 12,000 tonnes of packaging material and 5,600 tonnes of glass. 14,600 tonnes of this for vertical collection, the rest is disposed of in containers. The aim is to dispose of the waste generated by the 210,000 inhabitants of the French town of Brest as efficiently as possible. Léo Magueur, engineer in charge of waste management in Brest, describes the situation as follows. “Brest Métropole operates on a “2 x 7” rhythm. That is to say, the employees work shifts and the equipment works 14 hours non-stop. To adhere to this schedule and to prevent outages as far as possible, we need equipment that can withstand the intense operating speeds and stresses. Fast, robust loader crane systems are in demand here.” Optimized waste management in the city 22 Forestry and recycling cranes Recycling cranes by EPSILON have the hard-wearing construction required. The Epsilon Q170L with telescopic main boom facilitates fast, smooth waste collection. Radio remote control enables the containers to be emptied in the shortest possible time. The cranes use biodegradable oil. This also enables the operator to work in protected areas without posing environmental risks. Quality, design and ease of maintenance of the Q170L promise reliable operations over many years. NOT ONLY CHEESE BUT PLENTY OF WOOD TOO The municipality of Röthenbach in Emmental, the region famous throughout the world for Swiss Emmental cheese with holes, is one of Switzerland's most densely wooded municipalities. The Daniel Scheuner transport company benefits from this large area of forest and is an expert when it comes to long timber handling. Martin Scheuner says, “There is a disproportionately high quantity of large timber in our region and this is why we rely on powerful forestry cranes.” They have already decided on the EPSILON brand three times within just a few years. The most recent “plant” in their vehicle pool is a MAN TGS 33.480 with an EPSILON S300L98 long timber crane and a self-steering trailer with combination frame. The on-road forestry crane has the time-tested and patented EPSLINK link-rotator combination with its extremely robust four-eye link. Thanks to its internally routed hoses, this solution ingeniously links the sensitive interfaces between crane, rotator and grab. The hydraulic hoses thus enjoy maximum protection. The High Power Lifting System (HPLS) is a further outstanding feature. Switching on the booster can increase the lifting force by up to 12% if extra power is required at short notice. The working speed is reduced simultaneously so that the components are not overloaded. With this system it is extremely easy to attach the self steering trailer with combination frame. Asked whether there had been a particular transport highlight over the last few years, Martin Scheuner replied passionately, “Transporting logs up to 25 meters in length is a highlight every day.” A great deal of sensitivity is often needed for the long timber transports because forest paths are usually very narrow and nothing at all like multi-lane highways. Forestry and recycling cranes 23 FIA Truck Race. Fascination in motorsport is not reserved purely for Formula 1. Race trucks are the “big brothers” of the Formula 1 fireballs. For more than 20 years, the elite of truck drivers have been thundering around European racetracks during the FIA Truck Racing Cup. 1000 HP under the hood, a perfectly coordinated team in the background and the considerable driving skills of the pilots ensure an attractive symbiosis of man and machine. MAN pilot Jochen Hahn won the European Champion title in Le Mans in 2011. Following an exciting battle, he won through successfully against the competition and secured victory in the third championship race. “ PALFINGER has been our partner for many years now and has always shown great confidence in us. So I am particularly happy that by winning the European championship I can give something back because ultimately it is the long-standing business relationship with our sponsors which lays the foundation for our success. „ Jochen Hahn, European Champion 2011 Imprint Publisher and media owner: PALFINGER AG, Franz-W.-Scherer-Strasse 24, 5020 Salzburg/Austria, Tel. +43(0)6624684-0, Fax +43(0)662450100, www.palfinger.com Responsible for content: Mag.
