Habbo Merchandise Through The Years (By Mark)
Here’s a photographic retrospective of stuff I found around the office on my lunch
break. Apologies for the quality of the images, I was using my camera phone for the
first time. Tell you what, I found so much stuff that I had to leave most of it out,
otherwise this issue would be close to seventy or so pages of out of focus photos.
Altogether now: SWAAAAAAGGGGGG
Released in 2007. The title track “Habbo Theme” by DJ Fuse was recorded by DJ
Orkidea who is a famous Finnish DJ.

This was an unused prototype from 2006/7. Apologies for the terrible picture,
someone was trying to talk to me at the time about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles movie and how the turtles were now going to be aliens. Sacrilege I say!
This is a doormat, with several coffee stains on. None of which are mine.
These CD was allegedly released in Germany in 2007, allegedly. I found this buried at
the bottom of a cabinet, and no one claims to know anything about it. It features
music by a bunch of people I’ve never heard of, and the Gorillaz. Who I met once,
back when the Gorillaz were touring all the Habbo sites and Murdoch got banned in
Habbo Finland.

A promo piece to show off the benefits of Habbo TV. Despite the brilliance of the
presentation, the series was never picked up.
A Habbo Water bottle. Legend says if you drink from it you will become a 100% Pure
Habbo. Reality says if you drink from it, people will look at you in the street with
wild suspicion in their eyes, and wax in their ears.
I saw this hanging up at the far side of the Habbo offices where no sane man dares
to tread. It has something to do with the old Mobiles Disco site which was created
prior to Habbo.
A promo piece for Habbo.no. It has a nice little set of translations and notes on the
back page.
Apparently “Sirthomas” is a Sikkerhetssjefen, and ROFL means “Ruller Og Flirer
Lattermildt” and thx means “Thanks”. It also mentions Aurora, who went on to
become Puffin. Actually Puffin helped put the whole thing together. The booklet
was included in a popular teen music magazine in Norway, TOPP, and because the
booklet included a code for 25 Credits quite a few magazines went missing from the
shelves of newsagents.
Inside of the Norwegian book.
