5 nights INCENTIVE BAYS OF HUATULCO Day One: Arrival Arrival at Huatulco International Airport and a short transfer to the hotel of choice. After a refreshing welcome cocktail, embark on a customised city tour (2 hours). Visit the picturesque churches in the downtown area. Stop at the local markets and sample some local delicacies such as grasshoppers and the famous mole. Day Two: Choice of activity, today is yours to join a Copalitlan Archaelogical Eco Tour: Just minutes from the hotel experience the recently discovered ancient city of Copalitlan more than 2000 years old, predecessor of Zapotec culture. This archeological site is the only one in Mexico hidden in a lush eco environment filled with hundreds of species of birds and wildlife. A knowledgeable guide escorts you through the site, explains the history of the area and highlights the many species of birds and animals. Binoculars and riverside snacks included 3 Levels of Huatulco: Discover the real Huatulco from sea to clouds. Begin the day with a brief overview of Huatulco then head off to Santa Maria Huatulco, the original town of the area and the location of the first town hall. After wandering the streets, board a private vehicle and head up to the mountain village of Pluma Hidalgo. Nestled among the clouds 5,000 feet above sea level, this picturesque village survives on the production of the surrounding coffee plantations. Sip some delicious coffee before visiting a local home filled with exotic native flowers. Evening – gather in the hotel gardens for al fresco cocktails and a mexican cooking lesson. Day Three: Waterfalls Adventure Escape the beaten path and explore the real Mexico. In open air safari trucks we will transport you into the remote, traditional villages of the Mexican Outback and uncover the ecosystem and wildlife of the mountains and jungles of the Sierra Madre. The highlight of the day is a swim in the crystal clear waterfalls and the traditional Oaxacan lunch at the Coffee Plantation. Evening - Sunset lobster cruise What could be a more perfect way to end the day than with a breath-taking sunset cruise to Tangolunda Bay? Sail along the coast to the hotel zone area then out to sea to watch the sun go down. This is the only way to see the sunset in Huatulco due to the high mountains. Day Four: Choice of full day activity: 7 Bays Cruise with snorkeling: Depart by boat from Santa Cruz Marina to explore the breathtaking bays of Huatulco on our private boat. There will be sunning, snorkelling and swimming at two of the bays with a special stop at La India Beach. Drinks on board the boat with lunch at a fisherman’s village. Turtles and Crocs: An easy going, fun eco-adventure day!! Travel up the coast to Ventanilla lagoon, climb into wooden flat bottom canoes and paddle through the mangrove jungle canals, home to hundreds of crocs. Keep your eyes open for beautiful tropical birds all living in their natural habitat. Continue to Mazute, a coastal community dedicated to the preservation of the sea turtle. Take the opportunity to see the many species that inhabit the Mexican pacific waters. Next stop a natural cosmetic factory, and then back to Huatulco Day Five: Vintage Connoisseur Rancho Tangolunda Adventure is the spirit of the day with all sorts of adrenaline charged activities from white water rafting to zipline.
