This month’s cover photo is of Max,
a 2-year old American Bulldog.
Max was found by RCAS Manager, Gail Lewis, wandering alone in a
parking lot of a local business in late February. "He was more than
happy to load up in my truck," Gail states, "as if he knew he would
be cared for." After some much needed attention and medical care,
he was placed up for adoption. Luckily, after almost 3 months of
being lost, his owners found him and took him home. Although Max
was reunited with his owners, other great pets still remain, like
Andy, Solo, and Tyra, below. To adopt one of Max’s friends, or to

Randolph County Sheriff’s Department Sixth Annual
Rodeo - The Professional Cowboy Association is
returning to Wedowee Friday and Saturday, July 3rd
and 4th, for two nights of “western entertainment” to
benefit the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department.
The rodeo will feature bull riding, calf-roping, team
roping, barrel racing, saddle-bronc riding, and more.
Besides the rodeo, various food, western apparel, and
souvenir vendors will be present, plus slides and rides
will be available for the younger rodeo fans to enjoy.
Admission is $10, with the gates opening at 5 PM and
the rodeo starting at 7 PM.
