MURDER! Don’t panic, you won’t be forced to participate in any way, but you may find yourself wanting to try to solve this fascinating crime, and to do so will take your undivided attention! Pay attention to everything that is said, everything that is done, and everything that might lead someone to commit MURDER! Inside this guide, you will find some information about each of the characters you will meet tonight. This may help you in your quest for the truth. About The Characters You’ll Meet… Join us for an evening of fun and mystery unlike anything you’ve ever seen! You’ll meet Foley Shelton, a world famous novelist, as he comes through town on his whirlwind promotional tour and book signing. He is, of course, promoting his latest, and greatest novel to date, and rumor has it he has a few secrets he’s going to reveal. Also, and this has not been confirmed, but word on the street is that his new book may be based on someone you know... Traveling with Foley is his wife, Anni Marx-Shelton, a woman who’s piercing voice is matched only by her ambition to have all of her husbands riches all to herself. Watch out, gentlemen – she’s been known to take a liking to men with deep pockets. sents pre The Cast: Gary Mitchell - Phillip Rothchild Anisa Williams - Anni Shelton Shelly Urbane - Sondra Moorehead Jason Stamp - The Nickle Calin Skidmore - Stephen Koontz Todd Lewis - Foley Shelton Also, Foley’s agent / editor Sondra Moorehead will be on hand. Despite recent talk that she may have taken out a large insurance policy on her current client, it is denied by most sources. Foley has attracted some enemies over the years, and don’t be surprised if a few of them show up. Perhaps even rival writer Stephen Koontz will get into the action. Stephen’s writing career never really took off, and some people say he blames Foley for that. Also, we’ve seen a strange man running around here for a few weeks wearing a strange T-shirt. When we try to talk to him, he just yells out “Foley is Bleak!” and runs away. We’ll have tightened security, so nothing bad should happen. We’ve even heard that one of Foley’s old creative-writing teachers may show up to give Foley his “support.” Hmmmm.... And that’s just the beginning of the fun. Bring your desire for fun and mystery, and get ready for a night that will have you talking! 2 3 Messages of love and support to Amy and Tom from friends and family: www.atgr.org congratulates our Fresh... Fun... Contemporary Theatre! 2013 Spotlight Award Recipients: Amy Osborn Kaechele & Tom Kaechele “Congratulations to our family’s Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne!” - Marie Biersdorf “Thank you both for being such assets to our theatre and our community! And if I ever get a sofa table, I will name it Tom.” - Dawn Highhouse Fondly remembering the old days. Grateful for all you both do. Best wishes for what is yet to come.” - Jean Meninga “Congratulations! We think it’s a perfect fit for Actors’ to recognize you both for all the time & talent you’ve so generously shared over the years, on & off stage. I’ll just say what I always do - who the hell is watching the kids? YOU ROCK!” - Deb Cleland Nowakowski and Scott Nowakowski For more than 30 years, Tom and Amy have been a vital part of the success of our organization. Their work on and off the stage is always stellar but, what’s more, they exemplify in their experience and dedication to their work that which has allowed Actors’ to grow and thrive for 32 seasons. “With love to the theatrical Royal Family of Grand Rapids from two of your most loyal subjects, Rose Anne and Michael.” - Rose Anne and Michael Shansky “Amy and Tom. Fire, ice. Ying and Yang. A combination of character, talent, giving, and love of the arts. We love you!” - Marty & Dud Smith Amy Osborn and Tom Kaechele were introduced to Actors’ Theatre as GRCC theatre students, studying under founder Fred Sebulske. Both worked under the lamps as actors, initially and, today, their cumulative experience represent work in over 75 productions throughout our history. While both are worthy, on their own accomplishments, to receive an individual award, we honor them both together tonight from a combination of what they represent to us, to each other, and how we think of them after these many 4 seasons: family. e to a Prelud 9 Kiss (1 92) Top G irl s (199 2) 5 Live Auction Items L-1.
