The small hamlet of Reis Magos lies on the banks of the Mandovi River, opposite the city
of Panaji. It is famous for two significant landmarks: the recently restored Reis Magos fort,
once commandeered by Adil Shah and later the Portuguese, and the pristine white Three
Kings Church, the first one built in the Bardez district, which bring historical value to the
neighbourhood. Every year in January, the village holds the lively Festa dos Reis Magos (Feast of
the Three Wise Men), with locals re-enacting the biblical tale of the three kings.
The villa is twenty minutes away from the city of Panaji and the long stretch of Miramar and
Caranzalem beaches, visible from the house. The historical Fort Aguada and the two Taj resorts,
