I have been in the graphics profession my whole life, starting young as an
apprentice in my parent’s New York ad agency and using traditional tools.
Finding my passion for computer graphics in 1984, I have remained at the
forefront of digital design ever since. In my career I have worked with a
head-turning array of clients on many project types across several industries.
I have held positions ranging from CEO to Art Director, to Adjunct Professor
and Creative Director and have co-developed ad campaigns, and marketing
strategies with the CMOs of Fortune 500 companies, authors and celebrities.
CAREER
EDUCATION
I have served in technology think-tanks and beta-tested graphics software.
I have co-founded three companies that developed graphics technologies, from
enterprise level digital asset management and marketing systems to telepresence.
SKILLS
BIOGRAPHY
And I haved hired, trained and directed teams as large as dozens of people.
INTERESTS
At some point, I have designed and/or produced virtually every type of digital

and physical media you can imagine, and have been instrumental in the creation
and roll-out of products and brands you probably know or see every day.
After having explored all these niches, my favorite by far is the 3D environment.

Film Oregon Regional Center is turnkey-ready USCIS EB5 regional center. It has been endorsed by both of
Oregon’s Senators, the Governor, a Congressman, Mayors and other officials as an immigration-derived funding
and jobs mechanism for local Oregon based film projects. Long range plans for FORCe included full stage and
production studios for film, television, and online media development. However, due to a sudden suspension
of the EB5 Program by the Federal government in 2012, this company now sits indeterminate.

AdSwift was a direct mail company specializing in enterprise level brand management. I designed and built an
online system to streamline deployment of postcards across sales forces numbering in the tens of thousands,
with integrated list acquisition and personalization tools. We partnered with a large on-demand printing and
mailing facility, Expresscopy. I worked directly with the CMOs of MetLife, Farmers Insurance, Wachovia Securities, AIGBank, Shaklee, and others to roll out top-down programs, and applied for a patent on my method.

I started this company to explore virtual reality solutions for interactive telepresence, surveillance and cyber
travel. During this period, I invented the first known stereo-catadioptric lens and worked with a compression expert from Tektronix on a functional interpolation algorithm for it. With proof-of-concept, I courted several hightech companies for investment, until my personal funding was depleted and I had to backburner the project.

In this venture, I designed and helped build a proprietary vehicle-accessory sales platform that became a profit
center for Ford Dealerships nationwide. Similar deals were made with Toyota, Chrysler, General Motors and
NAPA. Owning the largest full-cove cyclorama in Oregon, we photo-cataloged thousands of makes and models,
years and colors, with interactive visualization, parts databases, web distribution, cataloguing, and tracking. We
crafted scalable production processes for enormous quantities of visual information. EyeVelocity reached 160
employees, with a 28,000 square foot facility. We were IPO-ready at $80M, and then the tech bubble burst.

My last name was spelled “Tschinkel” I am told, before my great-grandfather changed it when he immigrated from Austria-Hungary to the US.
My middle name, Frank, was given in respect to my other great-grandfather, Frank Adler, an artist who painted cathedrals in fresco, and is
accredited with designing the original calligraphic Pepsi-Cola logo.
My parents and aunt are also accomplished artists, the latter having
owned a small ad agency in New York, and later another in Scottsdale,
Arizona. An only child, I learned the traditional tools of the trade; my
talent was focally nurtured. By age eight, I was performing simple
graphics tasks such as cutting ruby lith, inking typography, waxing
galleys, blue-lining rules or whatever kept a child at the office busy.
In school I excelled in artistic endeavors. I became the first editorial
cartoonist for my school paper, set designer for the thespian troupe,
and won a few local art shows. I set my mind on architecture, and was
offered scholarships to ASU, Tulane, Carnegie-Mellon, and Pratt Institute.
I chose Arizona State University and studied architecture for two terms, after which time I returned to graphics,
favoring visual design over engineering. With my change in major came a change in schools. I picked up courses at
community colleges in Phoenix and then moved to Flagstaff where I completed my core studies at NAU, working
the whole time as a freelance designer for various small agencies to gain as much varied experience as possible.
I was married in 1985 to my wife Kimberly, also an artist and a fashion designer. My son Nathan was born in 1986,
and my daughter Amanda was born in 1989. I worked at a successful design group, until tiring of Phoenix.
In 1990, I moved my family to Portland, Oregon for the hometown friendliness and creative atmosphere it represented at the time. I worked as Art Director for a couple of companies until I had enough network and footing to
strike out on my own with MediaMania. We received accolades and I worked on many high-visibility projects while
at the same time I was teaching design courses at PSU and stayed actively involved in the design community.
With a hearty entrepreneurial spirit, I was at times principal in the formation and operation of multiple companies
at once, including EyeVelocity, growing quickly to an IPO that was ill-timed for the same month that the dot-com
bubble burst, and AdSwift, where I built mailing campaigns with the CMOs of major corporations and brands.
