to be found on the South coast.’
I am thrilled that the summer season at the White Rock Theatre boasts a run of
the multi-award-winning, West End smash-hit musical Blood Brothers as well as

There’s ‘Camp’ fun with the stage version of the Jimmy Perry and David Croft hit Hi-DeHi! Two of the all-time comedy greats are celebrated in A Night out with Tommy Cooper,
starring Clive Mantle, and the double Olivier Award-nominated Morecambe, which has
taken both the Edinburgh Festival and London’s West End by storm! We have music
with Jools Holland and the man credited with transforming the face of contemporary
British Jazz, Courtney Pine. Our comedy line-up includes the British Comedy Awardwinner Katy Brand and Rhod Gilbert, who returns to the White Rock Theatre by huge
public demand.
An exciting new begining for Pantomime in East Sussex!
As further testimony of our commitment to the White Rock Theatre I am delighted to
announce that Qdos Pantomimes, a sister company of HQ Theatres, will present an
unmissable production of Cinderella in December. Marking an exciting new begining for
traditional pantomime in East Sussex, Qdos, the world’s biggest pantomime producer,
will bring unrivalled production values to the most popular pantomime of them all.
Ever wanted to take your bows on the stage of the White Rock Theatre? Then join
Theatre Director, Rob Allerston and his team for our first ever Theatre Open Day on
Saturday 8 May! In addition to backstage tours, come along and participate in a series
of events and take the opportunity to visit the newly-refurbished Pavilion Café. With its stunning sea-views and 1920s
ambience there is no better way to further enhance your visit to the White Rock Theatre!

COMEDY Following last year’s sellout tour, the Welsh Wonder is back
with a brand-new show. Last year,
he punched a shop assistant over the
duvet tog-rating system and went
berserk over a mince pie. Stung by
accusations that he over-reacts,
Rhod sets out on an emotional
rollercoaster of a journey to discover
the truth. Is he, as he believes, a
visionary in a sea of closed minds,
or has he, as everyone else believes,
got anger-management problems?
‘Comic of the Year, Breakthrough
Act and Best Show winner’
You will be treated to a magnificent
three-course meal as you watch the
plot unfold and attempt to unravel
the mystery. With the chance to
interrogate the suspects and solve
the clues, a dining experience has
never been so much fun. Whether
you consider yourself more
perceptive than Poirot or more
curious than Clouseau, we’ll bring
out the detective in you!

everyone else believes, got anger-management problems.

MUSIC Quite simply one of the
most successful and popular singers
the UK has ever produced. Now
celebrating her 50th year in music,
