Millennium Park - Chicago, IL
Welcome to Culinary Heaven
Chicago Gourmet is a world-class celebration
of food, wine, spirits, beer and Chicago’s
rich culinar y heritage produced by the
Illinois Restaurant Association, title sponsor
Bon Appétit, and presenting sponsor Southern
Wine & Spirits of Illinois. The weekend festival
showcased 206 of Chicago’s finest restaurants
and chefs, as well as hundreds of renowned
vintners, spirit makers and premium breweries
from Chicago and around the world.
Guests enjoyed dozens of live cooking
demonstrations on two stages, expert
seminars on wine, mixology and food trends
as well as gourmet tastings and book
signings by internationally renowned chefs,
master sommeliers, and winemakers.
Additionally, the fun (and tasty) Hamburger
Hop kicked off the weekend, an exclusive
Grand Cru wine tasting was featured on
Saturday and Sunday, and the Bon Appétit
and Chicago Gourmet Dine Around extends
the event beyond Millennium Park into some
of the area’s best restaurants.
In 2014, over $113,000 was raised for charitable
funds, the most in Chicago Gourmet’s history,
benefiting the Illinois Restaurant Association
Educational Foundation as well as other
charities.
