CLASS SPONSORS ARE $100.00 EACH! We are requesting sponsors from the local business merchants, Texas Brahman Association members and/or anyone that would like to contribute. This money allows us to have great awards (buckles, trophies, leather goods, etc.) at our state show. Sponsors may join together to sponsor a class and may purchase as many sponsorships as they would like. Sponsorship forms must be accompanied with payment (cash, check or money orders) in order to be counted. If sponsor requests a particular class or event, please list this on their form. Otherwise, lots will be drawn and sponsors listed in the catalog with the proper class each will be sponsoring. TJBA member who obtains the most paid class sponsors ($100 a class) will be given a BELT BUCKLE! A FORM IS ENCLOSED TO GIVE US THE REQUIRED INFORMATION. Feel free to photocopy this form as needed. In order for the TJBA member to receive credit for the sponsorship, their name must be on the sponsorship form. PLEASE SEND THE COMPLETED FORMS WITH THE MONEY TO THE TJBA OFFICE BY May 15, 2016. Sponsorships will always be accepted up to and during the show. However, in order to guarantee that the sponsor’s name will appear in the show catalog, sponsorship form and money must be received by June 1, 2016. EVERY TJBA MEMBER IS REQUIRED TO GET ONE SPONSOR, A MINIMUM OF $100. DOOR PRIZES Door prizes will be given to TJBA exhibitors during the Cattle Show. We ask that each exhibitor bring an item to donate so that everyone receives a door prize. The following are suggestions: SHOW SUPPLIES, LIVESTOCK SUPPLIES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, WEARABLE ITEMS, GIFT CERTIFICATES, GOODIES, ETC. Think of something that you would like to receive! Door prize items should be delivered to the show office during check-in. If you wish, you may identify each item with your name and address. SILENT AUCTION A silent auction will be held at the TJBA State Show to raise money for the association. Please bring suitable items for this auction. Your support is greatly appreciated! MOTEL ACCOMMIDATIONS All events will be held at the Brazos County Expo this year therefore there will not be a host hotel. There are several hotels in the Bryan/College Station area. I will pass along any discounts that I get at www.TexasBrahmans.com CAMPER HOOKUP The Brazos County Expo has 78 RV spaces available for rent. Rental fee is $30.00 per day per RV. The Expo Center will issue camper passes and collect all fees. Spaces are available on a “first come, first serve” basis. 16 CONCESSION STAND We are working to have the Concession Stand open during our entire show. More details will be available at the show. * * * BEDDING * * * Outside shavings will be allowed or can be purchased at Expo Center. They will have shavings and pellets for you to choose from. Expo Center will be responsible for collecting and delivering money for shavings. * * * STALLING * * * Be sure to include any stalling requests on your entry form. We will be selling extra stall spaces this year. Each animal is provided one (1) stall space with paid entry and each exhibitor will receive one (1) additional stall space for tack free of charge. If you would like to purchase additional stall spaces, please note this on your entry form and pay the additional fee of $20.00 per space. Once all entries are received and stalling is assigned, we will allocate extra stalls according to availability. Please be reasonable with your requests and remember that space is limited. If we are unable to provide your additional requested stalls your fees will be refunded at the show. Please call me with any questions 936-870-8439. Example#1 – If an exhibitor enters 3 head of cattle, that exhibitor is assigned 4 stall spaces. If exhibitor would like to set up a display, they may request 2 additional stalls at $20.00 each. Now this exhibitor will have 6 stall spaces. Example #2 - If a unit (a family or group) has 2 exhibitors and each exhibitor has one head of cattle each, this unit will receive 4 stalls. 17 CONSTITUTION & BY-LAWS of TEXAS JUNIOR BRAHMAN ASSOCIATION As amended June 14, 2007 ARTICLE 1 – Name, Purpose, and Code of Ethics Section 1 The name of this Association shall be “Texas Junior Brahman Association” an affiliate of the Texas Brahman Association.
