The image is of an elegant tree that stands in a field with outstretched branches and the sun shining in the background. Each inspiring and whimsical, heartshaped flower was created by the children, and subsequently painted onto the tree by the artist. The artist's vision is that "The rising sun offers hope with each new day. City of South San Francisco Hope for a cure. Hope to end childhood cancer."
