Enjoy more than 100 different kinds of coleus throughout the
greenhouses and display gardens, including the “paintbox” containing
dozens of different selections.
Carefully trained topiary specimens will be on display.
In addition to coleus, a wide range of other tropical, annual and hardy
plants will be at their colorful best throughout the gardens and greenhouse
areas at Atlock.
Tour the gardens to enjoy the delights of the early fall plants and flowers
and buy delicious heirloom tomatoes.
Garden expert and author Ray Rogers of North Brunswick, N.J., author of
Coleus: Rainbow Foliage for Containers and Gardens and Pots in the
Garden: Expert Design and Planting Techniques, and Ken Selody of
Somerset, N.J., owner of Atlock Farm and former contributing editor for
Martha Stewart Living, will conduct tours of the nursery and present miniworkshops on overwintering plants for next year, on making more coleus
from cuttings and on creating easy-to-make coleus topiaries.
Discounts on Mr. Rogers’s autographed books, as well as on coleus, other
plants and garden-related items, will be offered.
