See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.

The integration of Penn View Christian School and Christopher Dock Mennonite High School into one unified school system was
affirmed earlier this year by both Eastern District and Franconia Conference delegates as well as the boards of both schools. Dr.
Conrad Swartzentruber, formerly principal of Christopher Dock, was named Superintendent for the new school system, and a new
leadership team was announced. “I am excited to be working with such an outstanding team of leaders,” said Dr. Swartzentruber.
“We will continue to shape our programs and prepare our faculty to provide the best educational experience for students in the
2015-16 school year and beyond.” Members of the leadership team, most of whom will give leadership at both campuses, include:

Christopher Dock Mennonite High School/Penn View Christian School partner with families and churches to develop the God-given abilities of students and
provide academically excellent education with a global perspective in a Christ-centered environment. From early childhood to grade 12, our students become part
of a unique learning community that challenges them to grow academically, emotionally and spiritually. Our students develop a foundation of faith, build life-long

Fall Pastors’ Days
Students at both the Penn View and Dock campuses truly
enjoy having their pastors, youth pastors and youth leaders
join them for Pastors’ Days. Here’s a recap of the fall activities at each campus:
Penn View
At Penn View, Jessica Hedrick, Pastor of Children’s Ministries at Souderton Mennonite Church, led the Pastors’ Day
chapel and encouraged students to be brave—because
God is on their side. The chapel ended as students
gathered around their pastors and prayed for them.
Pastors then listened as students recited Bible memory
and performed a variety of musical numbers, and ended
the day with classroom visits.
Christopher Dock
Christopher Dock’s Spiritual Life Emphasis Week featured
a series of messages from Rev. Leonard Dow (‘82), pastor
of Oxford Circle Mennonite Church in Philadelphia. Friday’s chapel included student responses. Videos and student responses are available on YouTube and on Dock’s
web site.
