Today is the first day of Sapa AS - the newly formed joint venture of the Extrusions, Building
Systems and Precision Tubing operations of Sapa and Hydro.
I am proud to present to you Precision Tubing, a Business Area of Sapa, the joint venture
that has combined Sapa’s and Hydro’s aluminium extrusion activities.
Combining the two businesses, we bring together strong local presence and technical
expertise with an unmatched global network, from South America to Asia.
Starting from a solid financial base that is conducive to long term business
relationships, we have a very wide portfolio of tubular products, extruded and HF welded,
that we manufacture in our plants worldwide.
Working together as one company, we believe we are even better equipped to serve
your needs going forward. Our mission remains unchanged, we are fully committed to
helping customers realize new opportunities through providing high-quality, innovative and
sustainable aluminium solutions. Working with Sapa will bring the world of knowledge to

vehicles, geothermal and other segments) where our
technological competence and innovative products can serve
our customers.
