and Adrienne Herrera, escorted by Sean Richard, and Kourtney Reading, escorted by Lucas Manning, represented the senior class. Adrienne
Herrera was crowned queen that night at the ball game. Congratulations Adrienne!

OU Vs. Florida by Dusty Edens and Josh Pilkinton
The game was at the Dolphins stadium.
There was more people at any other
NFL game played at the Dolphins stadium. Florida scored first, and then OU
scored .
At halftime the score was tied at 7. OU
had two opportunities to score before
half, but they couldn’t punch it in. To
start the second half Florida scored to
make it 14-7. Then OU scored to tie
the game. In the 4th quarter Florida
scored to make it 21-14. OU had a
good drive going, but then Florida’s
corner intercepted the ball. Then Florida got a field goal to make the final
score 24-14.
NEO BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT by Dusty Williams & Kourtney
Reading
The NEO tournament started
January 22, 2009. The lady tigers
played Quapaw on Thursday and
got beat. The boys played Welch
and they got beat. Both teams
played at the Civic Center. On Friday the Girls played at 12:30 at
the Will Rogers Gymnasium. They
played Foyil and won. The boys
played at 6:00 in the Miami High
School Gymnasium. They played
Watts and won by 1. This was the
last year that the tigers will be attending the NEO Tournament .
Next year they will attend a different tournament. Both teams head
into the final month of play. Districts start on Feb. 20. Good luck
to both teams in post season play
and congrats on a great year!
