Factory Integration
Just because a factory radio is difficult to remove does not mean
you cannot expand your system to enjoy the ultimate in technology
and sound quality. Kenwood’s CarPortalTM expansion products
provide cost-effective solutions for upgrading factory radios.
Kenwood CarPortalTM offers maximum flexibility — allowing you to
keep the existing system, use CarPortalTM as a source, use the
existing factory screen as a visual center, or even replace the
existing system entirely.
If you choose to use the factory navigation screen as a control
display, then the KOS-CV100 is ideal as it sends composite video
signals to a third-party adaptor. Once connected, you can control
your system via the supplied remote controller by mounting a
remote eye close to the factory radio.
