, The National Healthcare decision day (NHDD) exists to inspire,
educate, and empower the general public and healthcare care
providers about the importance
of advanced care planning .This
iniative provides clear, consise
consistent duplicatable information not just in paper form
but with a variety of health care
professionals available to answer
questions that may arise in the
formation of legal end of life
issues that so often can mistify
a family.
This goal of this drive is to
make the general public aware of
the importance of other
healthcare decisions that include
Super seniors
D a y
much more than living wills. It
also includes the HIPPA privacy forms which often are hard
to understand and a hindrance
to the average person wanting
to gain access to a family
members personal medical
history .
Festus Manor is proud to
host this years event in the
main dinning room 2 pm to 4
pm April 16 th There will be
various professionals present
to answer frequently asked
questions along with a notary
to validate changes or initial
health care directives.
