Immunization Records
To Go to Senior’s Homes
To the Parents/Guardians of Seniors,
Your student’s immunization record
has been a part of his/her health file while
attending WACO. At graduation, we will
be sending that record to your home. We
will no longer keep it on file at school.
The record should be kept in a safe
place as you may be asked frequently for
this immunization record for colleges, employers, and health care providers.
Please be advised WACO Schools will
no longer have this record once it is sent
to you.

Parents of Music Students,
The baseball and softball concession
stand is being run by the Music Boosters
this spring and summer. Each year the
Music Boosters help to purchase new
equipment, music, instruments, instrument
repairs, costumes, props, and trips where
students work with clinicians.
The concession stand profits assist us
so we can continue helping the students
in the elementary, jr. high, and high
school.
If you are the parent of an elementary
orchestra or band student or the parent of
a student in band, orchestra, or chorus at
the jr. high or high school level, we are
asking for your help.
There will be a sign-up sheet at the
spring concerts. You can also call Audra
Barnhart at 256-6022 and sign up to help
at a game. Please consider helping us so
that we may continue to nurture the fine
arts in the WACO District.
Thank you,
The Music Boosters
Please Return
Library Books
All Elementary Library books
need to be returned and all fines
need to be paid as soon as possible.

2016-17 IMPORTANT INFORMATION
2016-2017 REGISTRATION
We're getting ready for next year! Beginning in early August you will be able to register your students online for the 201617 school year. We will no longer hold one official day for registration.

Registration letters will be sent in mid-July. Online registration will open early August and will be
communicated through parent email address on file, Social Media, and our regular media. If you do not have
online access you may come to the JH/HS building beginning Monday, August 8th, Monday-Thursday between
9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. If online registration is open earlier we will notify you through our regular channels.
New families to the district should plan to leave extra time to register.

Registration payments: May be made online through PaySchools. (available at www.wacocsd.org > top black
bar) We ask you to please make arrangements for payment prior to the first day of classes.
CRITICAL INFORMATION: We encourage you to update your PowerSchool information BEFORE registration (and
as these changes occur throughout the school year.) If we do not have current information on record for you and your
student(s) we are unable to keep you informed. Updates to keep in mind:
 New phone numbers (daytime and mobile)
 Address change
 Medical change
 Email address
 Emergency contacts
This DOES NOT replace registration, this is only to help us have your most current information on file and save you
time this summer! Please note: this information is vital for us to communicate with you. In an increasingly paperless
society, and with tightening budgets it is vital information to us to keep you informed. This is especially critical in the
event of emergency.
 BUS ROUTES: Drivers will call the phone number we have on record for you prior to the first day of school.
At this time, no major changes are planned for bus routes. Calls may be in the evening, and weekends. Bus barn
phone number is 319-653-3695.
