Install KeyWin5 2.0.0
Step 1
First you need to check your server/computer settings so it is according to the requirments below. It is very
important that the ports mentioned are open for the functionality of the system. Control this with your ITdepartment.
Port 80 is normaly always open but please also make sure that this is open. This port is used for getting access to
Creone license server.

Step 2
Open your USB-key and copy the folder to your desktop. Open the folder and choose the file “KeyWin” of the
type “Program” that is showed on the picture below.
”KeyWin” of the type ”Windows Installer package” are only used in case the software shall be installed on a
application server / terminal server.
Step 3
When you have open the file, the installation wizard will start. Press “Next”.

Choose were you like to install your software and press ”Next”.
Step 5
Depending on how you like to use KeyWin software, the installation wizard have 3 different installation types.
Typical: Will install both the KeyWin server and client. Most common installation.
Custom: Option to install either KeyWin server or client.
Complete: Option to install your database on an existing SQL-server.

Step 6
When you have selected the installation type, press ”Install”. The installation will now start and can take up to 20
minutes.

Step 7
When the installation nearly is completed, the ”KeyWin database manager” will appear. Press “Connect”
without making any changes.
Note – If this window do not appear, the installation is not completed and KeyWin system will not work.
When the following window is showed, press ”Create” without making any changes.
When the database has been creted you will see the window below. Press “Close” to finish the installation.

The first time you open KeyWin5 you will get 30 days probation time to use the software. You now need to
apply for a license to use it longer time.
If you do not complete this, the software will not be possible to use after 30 days.
I have a license code and want to activate KeyWin5
If you earlier already have an license file in your system and have got a license code from your dealer, choose
this option and enter only the code. This option is used when you want to activate more KeyWin clients in your
system.
I want to register now
If your computer have access to internet, choose this option and enter all information in the next window. All
information will be sent to Creone and Creone will approve the license request. At the next time you open
KeyWin software a new license file will automaticly be downloaded.
Import license file manually
In case your system is offline, your Creone dealer will send you a license file and code manually and then you
choose this option and import the information.

Delete KeyWin5

Step 1
To delete KeyWin5 software you first need to go to ”Windows Control Panel”. Select Microsoft SQL Server
2008R2 and choose Remove/Change.

Select KEYWIN and ”Next”

Select ”Database engine Services” and ”SQL Server Replication” and press “Next”.

Now the SQL-server is removed and continue by pressing ”CLOSE”.
