For the ninth year, the Ridgeland High School Lady
Titans soccer team has won the Mississippi High School Association Class 5A Championship soccer title.
During the championship game, the Lady Titans defeated
South Jones with a score of 1 - 10, making this epic defeat
by the Lady Titans their ninth state championship in the program’s 11
-year history.
“The Lady Titans have developed a winning,
cooperative spirit and a high degree of sportsmanship, and their activities and attitudes reflect great
credit upon the individual players, bringing great
honor to Ridgeland High School,” said Coach
Jonathan Branch who coached the team to victory.
